Oh Ava please get home safely.🙏🏼
Today I post my weekly update on the search for Ava, in the hope that more people will be aware and anyone who sees or saw something may come forward.
She has, as of now, been lost for a month and a half. This upcoming Sunday morning it is supposed to (as I write this) go down to a temperature of 36 degrees where we are (Middletown, on Geary Drive—not far from the Target on Rt. 35 and Harmony School).
This is not weather that, to put it bluntly, parrots can survive. It has been weeks since any solid leads have emerged, and despite all of our best efforts, it is getting harder to hold onto hope that she’s out there.
As previously said, we’re offering a generous reward to anyone who finds her, but due to scammers we’re not divulging the amount publicly. All I can say is please, keep your eyes and ears open. If you see her or have taken her in, please call me at 732-740-2672, or call my mother at 732-245-2083.
Don’t pursue her if you see her, but you can try to lure her in with food—she’s very timid, but I imagine she’s also quite desperate at this point.
Just please…things are looking very grim, but miracles can and do happen.
Attached is her PawMaw poster; if you really want you can print it out and put it on your property or somewhere you think people may see—just be sure not to put it on telephone poles, streetlights, or anywhere else you can’t legally place it.
Thank you and may God bless all of you—you’ve all been very helpful and kind and I would have long crumbled without your support.
