Great update!
These boys were found by a Good Samaritan who took them to the police station and they are now reunited with their family!

I know we have been closed for business for some time, but the page remains open for necessities like this!

This adorable Shepherd was adopted from us in 2018. His name was Dunn and is now Beau. His super cute lab friend is named Fred.

Beau and Fred escaped their home this evening in Manvel, Texas and they are on an adventure. They were last seen at the intersection of Del Bello lane and Del Bello Road.

If spotted please do not chase! Please contact our page immediately if seen.

Their mommy is frantic and searching for them! Their mom can be reached at 715-323-5285.

Do you know me? Or my family?

This pup was found in the River Oaks area. It has a chip that was supplied at one of our outreach microchip programs/free chip events.

Unfortunately the pet parents did not register the chip so we can’t find the owners!

If the owners aren’t found this beautiful pup is going to need rescue!

We are hoping it’s parents still follow the page as this is where we always listed our microchip events and/or offered free chips to pet parents throughout our he Houston area when we were able to.

Please share to help reunite this pup with its owners!

As our final adoptable dog found her forever home, we are saddened to share the news that Chip N Snip is officially closed.

We have two remaining hospice dogs who will be cared for financially by our board for as long as they need us.

This wasn’t a decision any of us made lightly. We could go into the many reasons but a lot of them involve personal lives and issues coupled with how covid has affected donations. Just know it is a very sad day for each of us.

What we hope to leave you with is this, we saved a lot of dogs the absolute best way we knew how. We could not have done it without each of you here reading this. We may have made some mistakes along the way, as no one is perfect. And some things we may have done perfectly. But everything each of our volunteers did to help these animals came from a place of love and caring. We are so proud to have worked along side of them, our vets, our donors and followers.

Our info@ email will close when our website shuts down.

We do have some outstanding medical debt that we will continue to pay on. Unfortunately,though, a rescue just can not continue to operate properly in the red.

We are so thankful to each of you who donated, shared, volunteered, prayed or even just followed a journey. You all made CNS the success it became. We love you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Our volunteers helped gather photos of the lives you helped to save. It isn’t every dog, but it sure is a lot of them. If somehow your foster or adopted pet didn’t have their photo posted, we would love for you to comment with a photo and share their story of being saved with the world!

Thank you, for being a part of this beautiful story of so many lives saved.

Guess who is officially adopted????

Our beautiful girl Kami!!!
From being feral on the streets and in horrible condition, Kami’s story is one made of dreams come true.

If you haven’t seen Kami’s intake story, it’s a must see. Her transformation is just amazing.

Without street rescuers and amazing fosters, donors, medical care and a whole lot of love, this story would not be possible.

We can’t wait to continue to watch Kami blossom in her new forever home!

Happy tails sweet girl. You sure have come a long way!
