Before the heat rolled in, we were able to squeeze in some great group rides yesterday!

Our hunter/jumper riders worked through courses in the arena and even took a few jumps out in the grass field, while our western riders focused on sharpening up their barrel patterns.

Both groups put in some great work preparing for our upcoming show, and they’re ready to rock it! We can’t wait to see all that hard work come together in the show ring!

Mark your calendars! Highland Saddle Club’s Fun Show is happening Saturday, September 12th, and we’d love to have riders and spectators join us for a fun day at the barn!

We’ll also have schooling open on Friday, so riders can get comfortable in the arena and prepare for Saturday’s show.

We’re excited to welcome Caitlyn Conroy as our judge. There will be classes for riders of all levels and disciplines.

The first class starts at 9:00 AM, so come early!

We’ll start with English classes, then take a break for a tack swap and arena change before moving on to Western classes. We’ll finish the day with trail, leadline, hobby horse, barrels, and poles.

Whether you want to compete, get some show ring experience, or just spend the day with horses, there’s something for everyone. Bring your friends and family, cheer on the riders, and enjoy the show!
