Zara is one happy girl! She is a 1 year old shepherd/ golden doodle mix who is full grown at 40lbs. She loves other dogs and wants the resident cats to play with her. Once she sees they have other plans in mind, she moves on! She loves to explore her world on walks or simply playing with a tennis ball outside. She is housebroken, crate trained and would make a great addition to a family in need of some extra love!

Kaide is a 67lb, 1 yr 3 mo old rottie mix built like a little tank who is somehow also the happiest guy in any room!

He is house trained with zero accidents, good with dogs, fine with cats, and absolutely thrilled to meet you specifically. He had some thoughts about the crate at first. He has since reversed his position entirely and now hops in for a treat like it was his idea all along.

Chunky, cheerful, and ready to go. Come get this boy!!!

My name is 💜GUMDROP💜 and before you ask, no, I do not know why, either.

I was found on the streets, which tells you something about my appetite for adventure and nothing about my ability to make good decisions. I ended up in a shelter for a while and by the time my foster mom came to get me I was, clinically speaking, overwhelmed. Pulling hard, overstimulated, a girl with a lot going on and nowhere to put it!

That was about a week ago. I now walk two miles a day like a normal dog. Loose leash. Minimal pulling. I sleep through the night without a peep and hold it together all day while my foster mom works. She seems surprised. I am not. I just needed the right situation like most dogs do!

Other dogs get me excited in a way I am still learning to manage. I want to be friends and I want to be friends NOW and not every dog is built for that energy right out of the gate. I am fostered with a large pittie who is teaching me, mostly by ignoring me, that not everything has to be a big event. Dog siblings could be possible with a proper intro, a human that gets it, and some patience up front.

I have a lot of love and I have been waiting a long time to put it somewhere permanent. If you have space for a girl who is still figuring herself out but doing a genuinely great job of it, I think we should talk.

His name is Joker, and yes, he earned it.

He’s 6 months old, just arrived in New York, and has already befriended a donkey named Max. He did not waste a single minute! 🫏

Nobody knows what breed he is and honestly that’s part of his mystique. When a dog comes through rescue we make our best guess based on what’s standing in front of us, and what’s standing in front of us is a mixed breed puppy who just charmed a donkey, so we’re working with limited data. Does it matter? We’d argue no.

What does matter is that he is young, adaptable, and a complete blank slate in the best possible way. No established bad habits, no strong opinions about anything yet, just a puppy ready to grow into whatever life you hand him. Apartment, house, farm with additional livestock he can befriend, all options are on the table.

He’s settling in, figuring out his surroundings, and actively looking for his people. The bar to win him over is apparently pretty low given the donkey situation, so you’re already ahead.

Jinx

Male | 5.5 months | Blue Heeler Mix

Jinx arrived with a name that suits him perfectly: a little wild, a little unpredictable, and completely impossible to ignore. This blue heeler mix is still figuring out the world. He is sharp, curious, and the kind of puppy who will keep you on your toes in the best possible way!

Blue heelers are working dogs through and through. They were bred to herd cattle across the Australian outback, which means Jinx comes hardwired with energy, intelligence, and a deep need to have a job. At 5.5 months old, he is at the perfect age to learn just about anything you want to teach him. The brain on this boy is not going to waste itself!

Jinx is looking for an active home where someone will channel that energy into training, play, and adventure. He will thrive with structure, consistency, and a person who appreciates a dog with opinions. Give him that, and he will be the most loyal, fascinating companion you have ever had.
