So some people who are "helping" trapping a dog in distress leave their traps un attended for hours on end counting on neighbors to keep and eye on those traps. One person released the dog when they seen it left in a trap with no one watching the trap and this person got so mad about it they had to make a post. But hey do not dare to tell them you should not leave your traps set because it can get the animal killed or at the very least injurred. I found dead cats a few times over the years in traps left by those who were "helping" One was caught in a old school life trap the type with the spring loaded door. The door snapped shut but failed to lock and the springs on those old school traps are quite strong to strong for a cat to be able to push open all the way but this poor cat managed to get his head out but could go no further. It trapped him like that he could not get out and could not pull back in and he was strangled to death. Who knows how long he suffered it was at least 24 hours because me and my dad took a break from trapping after camping out on the spot for over 2 days so we took a day and change off came back with out own traps and found this cat dead. Needless to say we freed the poor thing and buried him there and we destroyed the trap. 3 days later the lady finally shows up and asked what happened to her trap. We told her it killed a cat and we destroyed the trap. She was furious threatened to sue us to replace it we told her to get the f away from us and to stay the hell out of our way and if we ever spotted her traps again we would destroy them as well. We never seen her or her traps again thankfully. But even the best traps can malfunction not close fully or a cat can panic and injure itself severely. We had to release a big tom cat we thought was feral because he freaked out so bad he was about to hurt himself. We cam back with drop traps and our vet. This cat walked right under the drop trap and our vet sedated him right then and there. He went straight in to be neutered and we took him home in a carrier while he was basically out cold and opened the carrier in our feral workspace. I waited for him to wake up expecting him to go and hide in the box i set uo for him.
Instead he walks over climbs on my lap starts purring and demanding pets and took a nap on my lap. He just did not like being confined at all. Had we left our trap un attended he would have hurt himself badly even covering him did not calm this cat down.

Our best guess is he was used by a kitten mill and became agitated and started freaking out living his life in a 2x2x2 cage and was dumped by the kitten miller. So he could not tolerate being confined at all. This is why you NEVER LOEAVE TRAPS UN ATTENEDED not even for 5 minutes. If you can not be there you trip the trap and ither hide it ort take it with you even if you are just going to a fast food joint 5 minutes away. It only takes moments for some scum back to shoot the cat poison it take him and the trap etc.

Wow just wow this cove security bs i mean seriously i looked in to it this security system company is shady as hell but i have seen no less than 30 people on my feed randos i do not know or follow pushing this scam companies products. This company advertises full security system free with 20 to 90% off monthly service same exact ad template just a randomly percentage off monthly service when you go to the site there is not a single camera or product that is actually free and they are far from even a good deal nearly 100 bucks for a in door only 1080 p security camera with no local storage complete rip off do not even interact with a single ad when you see it block immediately or your feed will be packed with ads trying to hard sell you on junk. I know many rescues are always looking for a good security set up honestly get tapo link cheap effective local and cloud storage all of it you pay for cloud but local is 100% free no subscribe to record local bs like blink and ring
