It’s been a while since we’ve been able to make an announcement like this, and goodness, does this one feel special!

Our beautiful Cookie is currently spending a little quality time with the ridiculously handsome and oh so sweet Mr. Bean from our breeding partner, County Line Kennels.

After everything that has changed for Mainely Dachshunds this last year, we couldn’t think of a more perfect way to begin this next chapter. We’ve carried a huge part of Maine with us all the way to North Carolina. Of course we kept the name that started it all, and held onto the things that have always mattered most:

🪄 ✨ Mainly Mini. Mainly Long Haired. All Magic. 🪄 ✨

Now, we leave the rest up to Mother Nature! If she works her magic, Cookie + Bean could be bringing us a very special Thanksgiving litter. 🦃🐾

Send us all your puppy dust, good juju, crossed fingers, and healthy Mama and Baby vibes because after a much-too-long quiet spell…

PS..... A little message to our New England families — We're without a doubt still yours! ❤️

Maine may no longer be our home address, but New England will always be part of Mainely Dachshunds. So many of our puppies are loved by families throughout Maine and the rest of New England, and our new families find us because one of you sent them our way. We don't plan on letting a few hundred miles change that.
That's why, moving forward, chaperoned delivery to your nearest airport will be included with your puppy fee for our Northern families. ✈️🐾

Our babies won't simply be put on a plane and sent to you either. They'll travel with a companion and be personally delivered directly to your arms. We want our New England families to continue welcoming Mainely babies without North Carolina standing in the way.

We may have moved South but we're forever New Englanders at heart....💜

Hello, strangers. ❤️

It's been a while...

If you've wondered where I've disappeared to, first...thank you. The messages checking in on us have meant more than you'll ever know.

The last year has been one of the hardest seasons our family has ever faced. We've experienced loss, homelessness, career changes, health struggles, and ultimately made the decision to leave Maine and begin a completely new chapter here in High Point, North Carolina.

For a while, I just didn't have anything left to give. I needed to focus on my family, my health, and our little pack.

But something I've realized is that Mainely Dachshunds has never just been about a place.

It was born in Maine, yes...but it's always been about raising exceptional long-haired miniature dachshunds with love, integrity, transparency, and a whole lot of magic followed and supported by an incredible community of like minded Doxie Crazies.

That part hasn't changed.

We're now proudly calling North Carolina home, but Mainely Dachshunds is coming with us.

Over the coming weeks I'll be sharing our new setup, introducing you to what's next, talking puppies again (finally!), and letting you come along as we rebuild—one step at a time.

If you've been here since the beginning...thank you for sticking with us.

Like an old married couple... 🥰😍🥰 Maynard loves absolutely everyone, but especially loves Sir Re*****on. Guess my Soulmate is a two timer. 😂 I'm so lucky to have these guys in my life, spreading LOVE, JOY, and HAPPINESS wherever they go. There is nothing quite like the absolute pure bliss that comes with the blessing of a good Pupper to share this wild life with. Something I can't quite put words to.
