We welcome visitors to come and meet animals who are most commonly exploited, abused, and killed in animal agriculture. Our animal residents are given lifelong sanctuary and are treated with respect as individuals. By giving farmed animals the chance to live their lives with dignity and by sharing their stories, we advocate for veganism and aim to reduce suffering for all.

Little PSA for your Tuesday: We LOVE goats! 🐐✨

Our rescued goats sure do love to play, be mischievous, and find creative ways to snack on their hay. This silly group is so sweet and we are thrilled to see baby Bonnie and baby Hobbes integrate into this herd. They bring such joyous energy to the goat barn and the older goats have been so kind to them.

There is so much to love about fall and we are very lucky to experience it with our rescued residents here. From the color changing backdrops where they graze, to the cozy pig beds, autumnal snacks, naps in the breeze, chin scratches and more… our sanctuary is an idyllic day-trip for family and friends.

If you’ve visited our sanctuary or followed us for some time, you’ve most likely seen our rockstar goat Remy. In winter of 2021, we were notified about a baby goat on a meat and dairy farm severely bent front legs. Remy was deemed “unprofitable” and was no use to the farm so he would have been killed without rescue. 

We welcomed Remy with open arms and have worked to try and give him the best life we can. Remy had a long road ahead of him including multiple surgeries, partial amputation of both front legs, custom prosthetics and multiple custom wheeled carts!

Remy now has many close goat friends, including sweet Pia and Christine. We just got him some new boots that will hopefully allow for improved mobility when he’s not in his cart and protect his legs. He is already acclimating to his new shoes…he’s such a smart guy. 

We love this boy to the moon and back! 💚✨

🎃How: Get tickets on our website for either tour on the 31st!

Come join us for a tour plus pumpkin giving to our very eager pigs! Costumes welcome and encouraged. Tickets needed in advance and this will sell out! We have so much fun at this event and so do the rescued pigs large and small 🐷🐷🐷🐷
