Midnight Twinkle
1993-2026

It is with a very heavy heart that we share some incredibly sad news with our Pony Palooza community. Our sweet, iconic 33-year-old Queen Bee, Midnight Twinkle, passed away peacefully yesterday morning. 🕊️

For decades, Twinkle was a cornerstone of our barn family. She was so much more than a pony. She was a gentle teacher, a safe haven, and a trusted partner who patiently taught hundreds of children how to ride, groom, and love horses. So many first rides, confident smiles, and lifelong passions for equestrian sport began right in her saddle.

She leaves behind a legacy of countless accolades and unforgettable adventures:

🌟 Champion Track Record: She dominated the circuit, bringing home South Park Saddle Up show year-end awards for roughly 15 years across at least 10 different kids.
🌟 Versatile Spirit & Heart: From eventing to trail riding anywhere, she was always up for an adventure. In gaming classes, her legendary sass and speed meant she regularly out-shined the big horses in the walk-trot games, proving size has nothing to do with heart.
🌟 The Patient First Teacher: She gave pony rides her whole life to the very littlest kiddos. Thanks to her incredible patience, she was always the absolute first choice to teach children how to tack up and how to trot for the very first time.

Her signature sass was exactly what made her the very best partner. From never EVER jumping flower box jumps without sharing her full opinions, to always squealing at her stall neighbor, she kept us laughing and smiling until the very end.

We know how much she meant to our riders, and we encourage you to share your favorite memories, photos, or stories of her below. In the coming days, we will set up a small memorial space at the barn where students can leave a note or a drawing for our beloved girl.

Flashy Black & White Pony Gelding – The Ultimate Barn Favorite!

Meet Theodore, affectionately known as "Theo," a gorgeous 6-year-old Welsh (Hackney?) cross pony gelding standing at 13.1 hands. He is a total love bug on the ground and a chill riding partner for any adventure. Coming off an Amish farm as a former school pony, he has nice barn manners and has been extensively handled by kids and has also been in our lesson program for the past 9 months. He has really become part of the family during his time here and has even been handled on the ground by my toddler. Unfortunately, we really need some larger mounts as our lesson program expands.

Theo is sound with no health issues and requires zero maintenance. He is the same pony if you ride him everyday or let him sit for a week or two. He is very sure footed and rides in any weather. Ties, loads, bathes & hauls wonderfully. No prep at shows.

⭐Walks, trots, and canters smoothly. Picks up both leads easily. Has natural talent for a flying change
⭐ Happily does leadline sessions for beginners
⭐ Has excellent brakes and a steady brain
⭐ Still green to jumping but clears up to 18" fences and small courses
⭐ Can be wiggly in his body and does best with a rider who can steer with leg and rein aids so best not suited for teaching kiddos to trot at this time
⭐ Rides safely ba****ck, English, Western, and drives too
⭐ Confident and steady on trail rides. Enjoys water and will swim in our pond as well.

BULLSEYE: ADORABLE & VERSATILE ALL-AROUND MOUNT

Bullseye – 13-Year-Old, 12.3 Hand - *THICK* Bay Haflinger Cross Gelding

After 4 wonderful years as a staple in our intermediate lesson program, Bullseye is looking for a person to call his very own. We are sadly outgrowing him and need to find something larger for our program.

✨ The Highlights

* The Build: Classic thick Haflinger cross. He is quite literally as wide as he is tall and takes up a rider's leg beautifully!
* The Ride: He has an excellent attitude under saddle, is very smart, and has super comfortable gaits (canters like an absolute rocking horse!). He rides ba****ck just as easily and goes seamlessly English or Western.
* The Job: A favorite for teaching advanced beginners on up! He regularly teaches kids here how to canter cross rails. He has no lead change, but he comes with an incredible set of brakes from any speed.
* The Talent: Super cute jumper who comfortably navigates up to 2' courses. He has shown locally, easily travels, and makes a fantastic low-level eventing pony!
* The Quirks: Lazy by trade! He goes nowhere fast and accepts a crop or spurs when asked to move out. He has no interest in teaching your very beginner. He is a smart pony that goes nowhere fast but can be strong to steer if you are a tiny tot.
* The Fun: He has no spook and is game for any adventure! He loves water, will trail ride anywhere, and regularly swims in our pond.

# # 📋 Ground Manners & Management
Bullseye has no known health issues or maintenance. He is the exact same pony whether you ride him several days a week or let him sit out in the pasture for a few months. Hands down, the worst part about him are his ground manners. While he is not dangerous at all, this smart boy is pushy on the ground and requires a standard chain over his nose for easy handling. Under saddle, he requires a rider with "power steering" or he will gladly steer himself. He is a breeze to haul, bathe, and tie. Additionally, he would make an adorable driving pony! We do not have a cart for him here, but he was seen driving in person when purchased and happily drove right down the road.

Bullseye is the ultimate fun, stocky, cheeky partner for an intermediate rider or family!
