🎉🐾 Happy Birthday, Deacon! 🐾🎉

We had the absolute best time celebrating one of our longtime daycare pups, Deacon! 💙

Deacon has been part of Canine Comfort since nearly the very beginning, and we were so excited to celebrate his special day with a pool party, cookies, and his daycare friends! ☀️🍪🎈😎⛱️

One of the many things we love about Deacon is his amazing demeanor. He can join any daycare group and never has a hard time making friends. He’s gentle and patient with our smaller pups, but can also keep up with the big dogs when it's time for zoomies and playtime!

We are so thankful for all the time we've gotten to spend with this sweet boy and watch him grow. Help us wish Deacon a very Happy Birthday! 🎂🎉💙

✨ Transformation Tuesday meets Tongue Out Tuesday ✨😜

Boone came in looking a little extra fluffy and left feeling fresh, clean, and so much more comfortable after his deshed bath! 🐶✨

With all this warmer weather, getting that loose undercoat out can make such a big difference, and Boone is definitely feeling the relief. Just look at that handsome smile! ☀️👅

🐾✨ Pet Spotlight: Boxer Edition ✨🐾

We’ve had so many adorable boxer babies with us these last few weeks, so we wanted to introduce a few of them! 🐶💙

🐾 Daisy is currently in our 4-week Board & Train program and is almost finished up! She has been doing SO well and we are so proud of her progress.

🐾 Carmela is one of our sweet daycare girls — and seriously, how could you not absolutely love that sweet face?! 😍

🐾 Calypso stayed with us for boarding this past weekend alongside Goose, who was also here enjoying a fun weekend at Canine Comfort!

🐾 Nox is one of our daycare pups and also recently completed a one on one training session with us! He did such a great job and is always so much fun to have around. 🐕✨

🐾 And lastly, Jax, who is besties with Carmela in our daycare program. These two always keep us smiling with their personalities! 🐕💕

The little things aren’t “extra” to us—they’re everything 💙

We’ve been getting these questions a lot lately
“Do you charge extra for…?”

• Love and cuddles?
• Giving treats?
• Letting my dogs play together but rest separately?
• Medication administration?
• Daycare while boarding?
• Daily photo updates?

Short answer: No.

At Canine Comfort, we choose to include the things that truly matter to your dog’s well-being as part of our standard of care—because we believe that’s how it should be.

All of our boarding pups enjoy daycare included at no extra cost—as long as they’re dog-friendly—because socialization and enrichment are so important. And if your pup prefers their own space, they’ll still get plenty of safe, one-on-one time outside with our kennel attendants for enrichment throughout the day.

And if seeing your pup while you’re away gives you peace of mind—we’ve got you. We send daily photos and videos, because that’s what we would want if we were away from our heart dogs. We can even FaceTime!!

Every dog in our care gets daily love, attention, and personalized care—no exceptions. Whether your dog has a detailed feeding schedule, needs medications, has a special routine, or just thrives on extra affection… we’ve got it covered.

Today we had the amazing opportunity to meet Phoenix during our Free Groom Friday with Catawba County Animal Services 🐾🩷

Phoenix is a German Shepherd mix with a story that truly stays with you. Just two months ago, she came into the shelter with no hair on her body and a severe skin infection.
Thanks to the incredible care she’s been receiving at Catawba County Animal Services, she has made an amazing recovery and now has almost her full coat back 🐶

During her grooming appointment, Phoenix was nothing short of a sweetheart. She wanted kisses the entire time—almost like she was saying thank you for being gentle with her 💕

She stood calmly for her nail trim (not always easy for a shepherd), and it was clear she already knows her basics like sit, stay, and down.

It’s heartbreaking to know what she’s been through, but so encouraging to see how far she’s come. Phoenix is truly getting a second chance at life, and we’re confident whoever adopts her will fall completely in love with her—just like we did 🐾
And we can’t forget those big ears… how could
anyone resist them? 😍

Tongue Out Tuesday featuring the one and only Mr. Bubbles 👅🐾
He came to see us for a nail trim, arriving in style in his little bubble carrier (which honestly couldn’t fit his name more perfectly 🫧). Safe to say he stole our hearts—and the spotlight—with that adorable face!

This past week at Canine Comfort, we had the joy of celebrating a very special pup for her FIRST birthday—Sweet Lulu! 🐾🎉🩷

Even though her big day fell on Saturday, we made sure to celebrate her with all her friends this past Friday during daycare. Lulu is truly part of the Canine Comfort family—she’s experienced just about everything we offer, from daycare and boarding to grooming and even our board & train program this year, where she absolutely exceeded expectations!

Two of our favorite things about Lulu are her incredibly sweet personality and how well she gets along with every dog she meets. She’s a daycare superstar and keeps us all smiling. And ask any of our groomers—their favorite thing about Lulu is definitely her long, beautiful eyelashes! 💕

For her celebration, Lulu enjoyed her very own birthday cookie (which she happily shared with her daycare and boarding friends!) and all the pups joined in on a fun scavenger hunt around our indoor playroom for treats—such a fun way to celebrate and enrich their day!

We always love celebrating our pups, and Lulu made it extra special. Happy Birthday, sweet girl! 🐶💖
