Catawba Valley Obedience Club We are a non profit volunteer organization of dog lovers focused on obedience and making your dog a valuable member of the family.

In addition to classes, the club sponsors and supports various social and educational activities throughout the area. Training classes offered include, but are not limited to Basic Obedience and Family Dog. We train using positive rewards like treats, praise and toys. Testing for AKC® CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and Therapy Dog International ®(TDI) are held at least once a year. All classes are on Thursday evenings at the Foothills Gymnastics. Members are involved in almost every aspect of the dog world; including, obedience, fastcat, agility, conformation showing and water sports. Above all, we encourage you to have fun with your dog.
