🚨 IMPORTANT POLICY REMINDER — PLEASE READ! 🚨

We completely understand that life happens and things come up! ❤️ However, grooming appointments are reserved specifically for your pup, and last-minute cancellations make it difficult for us to fill that time with another client. We have had an abundance of cancellations over the past 2 weeks, and unfortunately we have to start strictly enforcing our cancellation policy that has been posted in our lobby. Last-minute cancellations don’t just mean an empty spot on the schedule—they mean lost income and time that could have been offered to another client. When an appointment is reserved for your pup, that time is set aside specifically for you, and with little or no notice, it’s often impossible to fill that spot. As a small business, those missed appointments directly affect our ability to keep our doors open and continue providing the care and service you love. We truly appreciate everyone who respects our time and gives us at least 48 hours’ notice when plans change. ❤️🐾

Starting now, last-minute cancellations will be subject to our cancellation fee.

🐾 48-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a 50% charge of the scheduled grooming fee.

🐾 NO-SHOW POLICY
If you fail to show up for your appointment without notifying us, you will be charged the FULL grooming fee.

🐾 REPEATED CANCELLATIONS/NO-SHOWS
After multiple cancellations or no-shows, we reserve the right to require a non-refundable deposit for future appointments.

🐾 NEW CLIENTS
New clients are required to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit of the quoted grooming price. If you no-show or cancel within the 48-hour period, your deposit will not be refunded.

🐾 LATE ARRIVALS
Appointments arriving more than 10 minutes late will be subject to a $10 late fee, unless discussed with your groomer.

We truly appreciate your understanding! 💕 These policies help us protect our time, keep our schedule running smoothly, and give every client the opportunity to receive the excellent care their fur baby deserves. 🐶✂️

At **Highland Hounds Grooming**, one of the things we pride ourselves on most is **PATIENCE**. 💕 Every pet is different, and we’re not here to rush them through the process just to get to the next appointment.

✨ **Individual grooming rooms** mean your pet gets a true **one-on-one experience** with their groomer. Less chaos, fewer distractions, and more attention focused entirely on *them.*

🐶 **Bad with other animals?** No problem! Grab one of our **weekend appointments** when things are extra quiet. Your dog does NOT have to make friends at the salon. 😂 Introverts are welcome here.

😰 **High anxiety? Nervous? Never been groomed? Had a bad experience before?** Also no problem. We’ll figure out the best approach for *your individual pet*, take things at their pace, and work on getting them more comfortable with the grooming process each visit.
