After 30 years of grooming, I can hardly believe that the time has come for me to say goodbye to a career that has meant so much to me as I will be retiring at the end of October.. However Groomer Has It will still remain with the same familiar faces that you have come to know and trust with your pets.

When I started grooming all those years ago, I never could have imagined the incredible journey that was ahead of me. Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting thousands of wonderful people and, even more importantly, loving and caring for so many amazing pets.

To my customers — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you for trusting me with your beloved pets. You didn’t just bring me your dogs and cats for a haircut or a bath. You entrusted me with members of your families. You allowed me to care for them, comfort them, get to know their personalities, and love them as if they were my own.

Some pets came into my shop nervous or scared and eventually walked through the door excited to see me. Some gave me plenty of personality — and some gave me stories I’ll probably be telling for the rest of my life! I’ve watched puppies grow into old friends, and I’ve shared in the joy of welcoming new pets into families. I’ve also experienced the heartbreak of saying goodbye to some very special ones.

Those relationships have been one of the greatest gifts of my career.

Grooming for 30 years has been more than a job. It has been a privilege, a passion, and a huge part of my life. There have certainly been long days, wet floors, flying fur, muddy paws, and the occasional little reminder that even the sweetest dog can have an opinion about getting a haircut!

But through it all, there was always a reason to come back — the animals.

Every wagging tail, happy face, gentle nuzzle, and grateful customer made it worthwhile.

As I retire, I’m filled with so much gratitude. Gratitude for every pet who trusted me, every customer who supported me, every friendship I made along the way, and every memory I get to take with me.

I hope you know how much it has meant to me that you allowed me to be part of your pets’ lives. It has been an honor to love and care for them, and I will always cherish the special place they have held in my heart.

Thirty years is a long time, and while I’m excited for this next chapter, walking away from something I have loved for so many years is definitely bittersweet.

I will miss the familiar faces, the wagging tails, the conversations, the laughter, and yes — even the fur!

Most of all, I will miss the animals who made every day special.

Thank you for 30 incredible years. Thank you for trusting me, supporting me, and allowing me to do what I love for so long.

I may be retiring from grooming, but I will never retire the love and memories I have for all of the wonderful pets and people who have been part of my journey.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for letting me love your pets. It has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life.
