Sometimes, the best stories begin with the word "never."

The Austin family never imagined that a puppy would become part of their lives. In fact, that wasn't the plan at all. But after one visit... then another... and one more after that, something changed.

They met Layla from our Vinyl Collection litter, and before they knew it, they realized she wasn't just a puppy—they had found a family member they never knew they needed.

It's one of those stories that reminds us how life has a way of surprising us in the very best ways.

When it comes to raising a well-behaved puppy, you don't have to be perfect—you just have to be consistent.

Puppies are always learning. Every interaction teaches them what's expected, so mixed messages can slow down training and leave them feeling confused.

A few simple ways to stay consistent:
🐾 Use the same command words every time.
🐾 Keep a predictable routine for meals, potty breaks, and naps.
🐾 Make sure everyone in the family follows the same rules.
🐾 Reward good behavior immediately so your puppy knows exactly what they did right.

Updated Puppy Pictures Are Here!

Jagger, Cash, and Marley are now 9 weeks old and are expected to mature around 30–50 pounds. Their personalities continue to shine more every day, and they are so much fun to watch.

Lionel and Pele are 7 weeks old and are expected to mature around 15–30 pounds. These little guys are growing quickly and are full of curiosity and playfulness.

We'll also be traveling to Columbia, Missouri, on Thursday morning and would be happy to arrange a meetup along the route.
