We got the opportunity to work on these littles yesterday. We went out on a farm call to see Abraham and Sarah for vaccines and routine floats. We've helped care for this pair for 17 years!!! How time flies! A huge thank you to the Selman's for trusting us with their care for all of these years!

Even the Employee of the Month has to see the dogtor from time to time. 😺 Finn had his annual exam and vaccines. He made his opinion very clear to the staff on how he felt about the whole ordeal. We are happy to report that Finn is happy and healthy despite what some of these pictures depict. Happy Finn Friday everyone!

Is your pup protected against Rattlesnakes?

We have seen a few babies come in over the last couple of weeks with Rattlesnakes bites. In an unprotected dog the toxins in rattlesnake venom are very painful and can even be deadly. Snakebites are always an emergency! The rattlesnake vaccine works by stimulating your dog's immunity to defend against the toxins of the rattlesnake buying you time to seek treatment.

🐾Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Dr. Michael Hawkins! 🐾

Dr. Hawkins brings nearly 20 years of experience in small animal medicine to our team. After earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California in 2007, he spent nearly 10 years practicing in Salt Lake City, Utah, before making his way to Waco! With special interests in canine & feline soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine, Dr. Hawkins is passionate about providing thorough care and partnering with pet parents to ensure their furry family members live healthier, happier lives.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Hawkins stays plenty busy with his wife, Rachel, their five children, and their three dogs! He enjoys soccer, basketball, swimming, reading, puzzles and word games, video games, and tackling DIY projects around the house with his family! We’re so excited to have Dr. Hawkins as part of our team and can’t wait for you and your pets to get to know him.

You all know him and we love him... Dr. Prescher has been a part of the Judd Team for 7 years now. Man does time fly!! His schedule these last several years has been Monday and Thursday.

✨Starting 9/28/2026 Dr. Prescher will be working Wednesday and Fridays! ✨
