CVC will be collecting items for donations to go to Grace Baptist in Aroma Park for the affected residents. Grace has been set up as a supply center and place for the kids to play. Some people are living in cars. Some people have infants and are in need of diapers, wipes and baby food, as well as basic needs. Pet food is definitely needed as well. Donations of gift cards that can be used anywhere for immediate purposes would be appreciated. They are also in need of some cleanup supplies. This is a list from yesterday. We will be taking donations for the Kankakee County Humane Foundation. The building had some serious damage, but fortunately none of the animals were harmed.♥️ There may be some others out there that may need our help. If you know of anyone please reach out.
