We’re excited to have these two Kokanee replicas on display at Flaming Gorge Resort! If you’re headed to Flaming Gorge, be sure to stop by and check them out in person. We’re proud to have our work displayed in such a beautiful and iconic fishing destination.
And these two fish tell a pretty cool story.
The silver Kokanee is what these fish look like for most of their lives. But when spawning season approaches, they undergo a transformation. Their bodies turn a vibrant red with black and green coloring as they prepare to spawn. ❤️🎣
These fish represent two very different stages of a Kokanee’s life.
Flaming Gorge is one of Utah’s places to see these incredible fish during their spawning season, making it the perfect place for these replicas to be on display.
