🐾❤️ WE’RE MORE THAN GROOMERS… ❤️🐾

Yes, we bathe them. 🛁
Yes, we brush them. 🧼
Yes, we trim, clip, fluff, and style them. ✂️✨

But what we REALLY do is LOVE ON THEM. 🥰🐶

There are belly rubs, sweet kisses, cuddles, talking to them like they understand every word (because we KNOW they do 😂), and lots of reassurance for those who may be nervous or unsure.

Our girls don’t just see a dog on the grooming table.
They see someone’s baby. ❤️

We comfort the scared ones.
We celebrate the happy ones.
We give extra love to the ones who need it.
And we make sure every pup knows they are safe and cared for while they’re with us. 🐾

Because at Denise’s Happy Hounds, we’re not just groomers…

✨ We’re dog lovers.
✨ We’re cuddlers.
✨ We’re comforters.
✨ We’re their cheerleaders.

And sometimes the best part of our day isn't the finished haircut…

It’s the kisses we get along the way. 🥹❤️🐾

🐾 MATTS AREN’T JUST A BAD HAIR DAY… THEY CAN BE PAINFUL! 🐾

We know sometimes life gets busy and brushing your pup can be hard to keep up with. ❤️ But severe matting is much more than a cosmetic issue.

When a dog’s coat becomes matted, those tight knots can pull constantly on the skin, causing discomfort, irritation, sores, and even restricting movement. Mats can also trap moisture, dirt, and parasites close to the skin, creating the perfect environment for skin problems. 😔

And here’s something many pet parents don’t realize… a severely matted coat can hide problems underneath that you simply can’t see.

✂️ Sometimes the kindest and safest option is to shave the coat down rather than trying to brush out painful, tight mats. It may not be the haircut you had in mind, but our priority is always your pup’s comfort and well-being. 🐶💕
