In memory of Peter Zippi, a young man dedicated to the care of animals, The Peter Zippi Fund Memorial Fund was founded in 1977 by Dr. Alice Villalobos. We have helped over 20,000 pets (mostly cats) since then. The Fund is run by wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly to help those who can't help themselves. We are focused on both animal rescue and spay/neuter assistance. We rescue abandoned cats

& kittens as well as those that have special needs. We provide them the care they need to be ready for adoption and then find them a new loving home. We also provide assistance for spaying or neutering of domestic and community (i.e. feral) cats, dogs and other animals.

Does anyone recognize this fabulous feline? 💛

We recently welcomed this little one into our care after they were found roaming a neighborhood in Gardena where residents said they hadn’t seen them before.

This gorgeous cat has lots to say and an incredibly sweet personality. They were relatively clean and very comfortable with people, which makes us wonder if they may have had a home not long ago.

For now, this cutie is safe with us and heading into foster care while we learn more about them.

We need to discuss Hal's fur. 🐾 All kittens are soft. Hal, apparently, decided that wasn't enough. His foster says this white little guy with a gray tabby top is the softest of the bunch, and considering the competition, that's saying something.

Born May 9, Hal is also confident, social, and very interested in people. He enjoys lap time and affection and will even roll onto his back when he's hoping to convince you that more pets are required.

He's loving with his brothers, comfortable with people, and wrapped in ridiculously soft fur. Halibut may be a fun name but Hal is also a seriously sweet kitten. 🩵

Lolo and Mocha are officially adopted! 💛

This adoption feels especially sweet because Natalie already had a connection to the PZ family. Her family previously adopted Lola and Roxie, so it means a lot to see that connection continue with Lolo and Mocha.

After meeting the girls, asking thoughtful questions, and giving them a chance to settle in, Natalie knew they were meant to stay.

We’re so happy for Lolo, Mocha, and Natalie as they begin this next chapter together.

That goatee. Those whiskers. That tuxedo. 🖤🤍 Charlie was born May 9 and is one of Bree's four boys. He's a curious, playful little guy who likes to investigate his surroundings, although he prefers to take a little time to get comfortable when something is brand new.

Give him that time and you'll discover the cuddly Charlie underneath. He enjoys pets and is quite happy settling into a lap once he knows he's among friends. A tiny gentleman with a little goatee and a very sweet heart. That's Charlie.

Bree has spent the last few months taking very good care of four little boys. Now we'd love to find someone ready to take care of her. 😻

This sweet young mom was rescued from a Target parking lot in April. Her rescuer thought she was a boy and assumed good food was responsible for her rapidly expanding waistline. Two weeks later, surprise! Bree welcomed four kittens.

She has been an exceptionally patient and loving mom, never seeming bothered by the constant wrestling, climbing, and general kitten nonsense happening around her.

Bree herself is incredibly social, calm, and confident. She approaches new people easily, asks for pets, and seems comfortable making friends wherever she goes. She has peacefully tolerated a calm Golden Retriever who gave her space but we're not quite sure she was a true fan.

Her mothering days are winding down. Bree is ready for a home where she gets to be the one being spoiled. 💗
