Hi everyone—just a quick heads up: we do not sell any merchandise through our page.

If you happen to see posts or comments offering “Fette Vet” items, please know those are not from us. We’ve reported it and are working with Facebook to get it taken care of.

Our page is still a safe place for updates, info, and connecting with our team—nothing about that has changed. Thanks for sticking with us!

It’s days like today that remind us why we do what we do.

Beautiful weather, fresh cut grass, and a clinic full of people who truly care—it’s something we don’t take for granted. We’re incredibly thankful to be part of this community, to have such an amazing team, and to get the opportunity to live out the work we’ve dedicated our lives to.

Spring is a season of change—and here at the clinic, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make some meaningful improvements. We’re excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to share it with all of you soon.

We’ll also be opening up to new clients in the very near future, and we’re looking forward to welcoming more families into ours. Stay Tuned!

Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and being part of what makes this all so special. 🐾

With Love as Always

Good medicine comes from great mentors—and a team that never stops learning.

We’re incredibly proud of the dedication our team at Fette Vet Clinic shows by continually learning and growing.

Over the past year or two, our veterinarians have been traveling to Animal General of Cranberry here and there to train with the amazing Dr. Hutchinson on a specialized knee surgery called a lateral suture repair. Many of those trips happened on our days off, simply because our doctors were committed to learning this procedure and bringing that skill back home to the pets we care for in our community!

This week marked a special milestone for our clinic. Dr. Hutchinson was kind enough to come up to Hermitage and work alongside our team as we performed our first lateral suture repair right here at Fette Vet Clinic!

Dr. Nelson performed her first lateral suture procedure flawlessly with Dr. Fette and Dr. Hutchinson assisting. Both doctors have worked very hard over the past year learning this technique sacrificing much of their precious free time. They truly have the biggest hearts for the patients they care for.

Watching our team grow like this is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Even though the clinic was closed yesterday, our team came in to train and perform the procedure together. It was an amazing day focused on learning, teamwork, and continued growth as a practice.

We’re so incredibly grateful to Dr. Hutchinson and his son Slade (practice manager) of Animal General of Cranberry for the mentorship and willingness to share their expertise with us. They are awesome people we are thankful to call friends!

Moments like this make us especially proud of our veterinarians and staff and their commitment to the pets and families who trust us with their care. 🐾

We’re forever thankful to serve such a wonderful community and their amazing pets.

Love always,

Team Fette Vet

📢 Rabies Vaccine Recall Update – For Our Clients

We’ve received some questions about the recent rabies vaccine recall circulating in the news, and we want to help put your minds at ease.

The recalled batch is NOT from the manufacturer we carry or administer here at Fette Vet Clinic.

Your pets’ safety is always our top priority. We carefully select the products we use and stay up-to-date on all manufacturer communications and recalls. If there were ever a concern involving something we use, you would hear it directly from us right away.

As always, if you have any questions about your pet’s vaccines or medical history, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for trusting us with your pets — we don’t take that responsibility lightly. 🐾

With Love,
The Fette Vet Team

🎄❤️ From our Fette Vet Family to Yours ❤️🎄

Running a small, family-owned veterinary hospital is more than just work to us — it’s long days, shared meals, late nights, and a whole lot of love poured into what we do. During the holidays, we feel especially grateful for the people who make it all possible, including you.

To care for our families and for each other, our team will be taking a little time to unplug, and truly be present with our loved ones. This rest allows us to return with full hearts and renewed energy enabling us to continue giving your pets the best care possible!

We will be closed Christmas Eve(the 24th) and Christmas Day (the 25th), as well as December 26th and 27th.

We’ll reopen for a full day on Tuesday December 30th, and a half day on New Year’s Eve (December 31st). We be closed on New Years Day and will reopen on January 2nd with our hours returning to normal.

Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and continued support. From our veterinary family to yours, we wish you a peaceful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year ❤️🐾

P.S. We always love to get photos of our beloved patients around Christmas time so feel free to send them our way!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

Love Always,

Team Fette Vet

!!!We have the happiest update to share!!! The sweet cat rescued by the Hermitage Fire Department and cared for by our team at Fette Veterinary Clinic has been reunited with his family. His name is Bentley — and when his owners, Mr. and Mrs. Hannah, saw the little “nick in his ear,” they knew right away it was their beloved buddy.

They were overjoyed and so thankful to have Bentley back safe and sound. What began as a frightening ordeal turned into a story of teamwork, compassion, and hope. From the quick response of the Hermitage Firefighters to the dedicated care of our veterinary team, Bentley’s life was saved — and now he’s back where he belongs. This truly is a Christmas miracle, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who played a part in it. ❤️

Original post from earlier in the day around 11am:

The Hermitage Fire Department recently rescued a sweet cat who had fallen into a swimming pool cover. Their fast response gave him a fighting chance — and thanks to the dedication of our veterinary team here at Fette Veterinary Clinic, this handsome fellow is alive today.

When he arrived, his body temperature was so low it couldn’t even register on the thermometer. He was minutes away from not making it. Through quick intervention and hard work, our team was able to stabilize him and bring him back. As

He is neutered, very handsome, and clearly loved. If he belongs to you, please reach out. He was found near the Rexford Drive area of Hermitage.

We are deeply grateful to the Hermitage Firefighters for their courage and swift response. Their teamwork, combined with our clinic’s care, truly saved this cat’s life.

*Special thanks to FF Mark Breier and Chief Wadlow for your extrordinary efforts saving this life.
