Join us 11:30 Wednesday, June 3, @ Stanley Snyder VFW Post 7465 as we proudly honor our nation's flag alongside representatives from the Butler VA Health Care System.
The American flag represents the courage, sacrifice, and freedom secured by the men and women who have served our country. We are honored to stand together in recognition of those who defended it and the values it represents.
Thank you to our veterans, active-duty service members, and all who continue to support those who have worn the uniform. We look forward to a meaningful day of patriotism, remembrance, and gratitude.
🇺🇸 Honor the Flag. Honor the Veteran. Honor the Freedom. 🇺🇸

Fly High With Horses was proud to participate in the MERCER MEMORIAL DAY 500. It is such a meaningful event honoring the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. The community showed up with amazing support, patriotism, and heart. ❤️🐎

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the parade such a success — the organizers, volunteers, veterans, families, and supporters who lined the streets cheering everyone on.

We also want to give a special thank you to the Bible & the Barn for being a very special part of this day and for all they do to support faith, community, and fellowship.

Today we were honored to recognize Donald L. Hennon – U.S. Army 🇺🇸
His son, David, proudly rode in the cart in honor of his father’s service and sacrifice. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do and how important it is to keep the stories and legacies of our veterans alive for future generations.

Days like today remind us that honoring our heroes keeps their legacy alive through community, compassion, and unity. 🇺🇸✨

🐎 The Phoenix Project 🐎
Sometimes healing doesn’t begin with words.
Sometimes it begins with a quiet moment… a gentle touch… and a horse willing to stand beside you.
At Trails End Conservancy, The Phoenix Project helps youth facing difficult life challenges build confidence, trust, emotional control, and resilience through meaningful connections with rescue horses. Many of the young people who come to us have experienced trauma, anxiety, instability, or the effects of addiction within their families or communities.
In this photo, you can see exactly what The Phoenix Project is about — a moment of connection, patience, and understanding. Horses respond honestly and without judgment. They teach our youth how to slow down, regulate emotions, communicate, and believe in themselves again.
Every horse in our sanctuary has its own story of hardship and recovery. That’s what makes these bonds so powerful. As the horses heal, so do the people beside them.
The Phoenix Project is about second chances, hope, and rising stronger together. ❤️

🇺🇸 What an incredible day at the VA 2K Walk & Roll supporting homeless veterans. 🇺🇸

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at the Butler VA Health Care System -Michael A. Marzano VA Clinic for hosting such a meaningful event and for all they do to serve our veterans each and every day.

Special thanks to the City of Hermitage Police Department for providing the es**rt from the farm to the center and helping our Legacy Riders arrive safely and proudly. Your support means more than words can express.

And a huge thank you to Rod Mcadams for bringing his grandson Michiah Lenzi for the beautiful and powerful rendition of the National Anthem. Your voice brought emotion, pride, and honor to the entire event.

We would also like to thank Mercer County Commissioners Mercer County, PA Commissioner Ann Coleman, Tim McGonigle, and, Bill Finley for their continued support of our veterans and our community. Your presence and encouragement help make events like this even more meaningful.

We participate in many events throughout the year, but this one carries a special meaning for so many people. Standing together to support veterans, reminds us why community matters, why service matters, and why we continue this mission every day.

Thank you to everyone who walked, rolled, supported, and stood beside our veterans. ❤️🤍💙

There is a veteran social gathering happening every week. The organization is hosting it at our Post every 1st, 3rd, and 5th (if applicable) Monday of each month. They want to connect with fellow veterans to share stories, explore resources, and help those in need. No commitments required, ever.

While this is not an American Legion or Post 432 event, we wanted to share in case any of our members (or non members) are interested.

Please see the provided flyer below for more details.
