Hey Guys it's been a minute since I've made a post. Things have been frickin AWESOME with all the canning out of the garden this summer EVERYTHING Fertilized with Kelli Poo's Bunny Boom Booms... Total pints of salsa of different kinds of recipe s and mixes 96, including THC infused. Why Salsa ? It's what we do.. if I'd grown brownies, they'd been infuse too. LMAO
71 Spaghetti Squash off Two Plants, 51 stuffed peppers, 55 Pumpkins, couple messes of green beans, nothing to write home about then about a dozen Cantaloupe, the biggest, over 7 lbs, couple of 6 pounders too. Cucumbers were insane, 40 Quarts of different Dill recipes, AMAZING, Then 20 more jars of Sweet and Bread and Butter Pickles.
Not too brag too much, what I wanted to show you was our new hutch design. 4'X12' Housed 4 rabbits with our past hutches. They were Comfortable but we wanted to utilize space without taking up more room. . Kelli and I put our heads together on this one and I think we hit pay dirt, plenty of room, now with 8 girls in there, easy access to the inside, two sided feeders and a completely new style PCU or TCA ( short for either P**p control unit or Turd Control Apparatus. I'm telling you. We have been totally blessed with the outcome of our garden. Mid October and we're getting ready to make more salsa, (on top of the 76 pints we've already done. it's crazy. Fall Green Beans about a week out, Peppers, 71 Spaghetti Squash off of two plants, 51 pumpkins of of 5 plants (I don't know if that's good or not) 6 1/2 lb cantaloupe, so much Okra along with 40 Quarts of Dill Pickles, 20 jars of sweet and bread and butter pickles. Been a bunch of fun working with Kelli on this.
BTW .... Our only fertilizer.....Kell Poo's Bunny Boom Booms.... This s**t worked !!!

Now is the time to stock up on fertilizer for the spring or to get it down before the snow flies. Direct application to lawns and gardens a 2.1.1 formulation of organic fertilizer. Rabbit manure, air dried, sifted, sized and screened to remove impurities.

Day two and more progress on the 20X28 addition. Trying to time the arrival of the 2nd Cupola/w squirrel (whole other story) and finishing the steel. Hopefully next week, grade work, new shade cloths, automatic waterers.
Think it's gonna be worth the money for the added ease of everything.

Well this is what we look like right now.
This last bunch still needs paint and the metal roofing installed along with roof trim.
We've also decided to replace the flooring in "B Row" to accommodate the hidden nesting boxes.
The Bucks will all be moved to the back row to be the first ones into the shade in the afternoon. We are trying to figure out how to install some shade cloths.
Or last decision is whether to use the existing ledger board and either add a lean too or an addition or do we just put up and 8 foot wall building.

Main thing, the girls seem happy. Lol we are constantly trying new things with these little fellows, for ease of operation and actually as much about comfort as anything for the animals.
Thought I would at least give a fair try to some rubberized flooring, hopefully they wouldn't eat it. So far so good, lol actually Beth, OMG. She jumps on it like a trampoline, hope to get a video pretty soon. Going to keep a close eye on em for a few days and monitor the flooring.
These actually have a new locking mechanism on both the doors and roof covers, even learned more this go around on record time....

Nala just put 5 new Lion Heads in the nest today first Momma to give birth in the new designed box. She took right to it, it worked perfectly!
Much talk back and forth, couple arguments and the a light suddenly come on. Nesting boxes.... Like a burrow.
I get it now. Hidden floor. Remove it, and there is the nesting box, 3 days ahead of schedule. 19 days later, put the floor back in.
Cannot believe someone else has not built hutches with permanent nesting boxes, Urine/feces separator or "TURDANATOR Table"
Having a little fun ..

This is just incredible. The only thing we're fertilizing with is Kell Poo's Bunny Boom Booms. We have been picking blooms off of the strawberries and the tomatoes to try and make a more "hardy" plant and yet a couple snuck by. Less than 4 weeks and we already have fruit..... Very happy with it all.
