Congrats to Paul David Tierney and Tanner Braiden for winning Team Roping in Houston 2nd night in a row. Tanner is riding Hal Take Some Pepto CCL, a gelding we raised and trained through his five year old year. He’s a Halreycious on the top side and out of our mare Peptomint Patti on the bottom side. He’s a half brother to 2022 Riata Buckle Champion That Bold Pepto CCL. Chris showed Hal as a four year old at the American Rope Horse Futurities. Chris sold Hal to long time customer Dave Daube who saw Hal’s potential and sold him to PRCA roper Tanner Braiden. Tanner and Hal have been a great team winning at the professional level with lots of great things to come. Great to see our home raised horse and training program doing big things.

Today was a big day for our breeding program. Chris and Bo won the 12.5 5 yr old and under and under roping at the First Annual Riata Buckle Roping Futurity. Went in as high team back and finished just under the wire for a first place. They will split $61,000. Chris riding That Bold Pepto by Bold and Beautiful (who is by Seven S Big Valley). Bo riding Big Valleys Ms Haida by Seven S Big Valley. These are genetics Chris has been putting together for four generations of horses. Very awesome to have a platform that can showcase these horses, with great payouts to the ropers, and then also impressive payouts to the breeders and the horses’ owners.

The much anticipated first-ever Riata Buckle roping is going down now! We’ve loaded 9 Bold and Beautiful and Big Valley horses in the trailer and we are ready to rope for the next three days. The open roping alone paid out $400k and payouts are just gonna get bigger and better from there.

That Bold Pepto and Chris put together some nice runs in Stephenville this weekend. They won the Parks’ roping in Childress last night and had a great day today. “Sketch” is a Riata Buckle eligible 5 year old stallion owned by Billy and Lyn Ray in Tesquesquite NM. Sketch is a ranch worker, a remuda stud, an amazing performance horse withy so many cool moves, smarts and big stop. Oh - and a cool dude with a ton of personality.

C’mon Hal and Tanner!!! Made the short go at Cheyenne Frontier Days. This is Hal that we raised (by Halreycious out of our own daughter of Peptoboonsmal, Peptomint Patti) and Chris Littlefield trained through his five year old year and showed at rope horse futurity in fall of 2019. He was phenomenal in foot work and his mind was always on point. Sold him to Dave Daube that soon sold him to Tanner Braden. Tanner and Hal are making a great team. Good luck tomorrow boys!! Pretty cool to raise this kind and get them in good hands. Hal is half brother to the stallion Sketch (same mare but Bold and Beautiful stud) that we have posted about before. ❤️

Murder Hornet, 2-year-old Bold and Beautiful c**t with his owner, Jesi Harvey taking him for a spin in the indoor arena on this wet and soggy day. They both enjoyed the ride. Jesi hasn’t ridden him since we started him several months ago. Fun to watch them reunite and get a little work in.

This day has been a long time in the making. This is Jesi Harvey with her 2-yr-old Murder Hornet. She has been waiting for this day for 2 years! Jesi is the breeding vet at Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, OK. She has access to the finest stud horses walking and her pick for her mares is Bold and Beautiful. She has been at this Colt’s side since he was born and they have a pretty special relationship. Hornet has been in our barn learning the basics for the last several months and he got to show off for Jesi today. They both had smiles on their faces. Hornet is a full brother to our filly Ruby - she’s 6 now and getting into her roping groove big time. Hornet and Jesi have lots of good times to come.

Come see us today at the RHAA Stallion Spotlight at Western Heritage in Abilene (Taylor Expo Center - First Financial Pavillion) at 4:00. This handsome guy will be there in person for a little meet and greet. We are getting calls every day from mare owners that are loving their Bold and Beautiful babies. He's a special one. We will have pics of him and c**ts and ready for a good visit - so come see us!

Bold and Beautiful c**ts are good minded, big hearted and easy to train. This was Moody Blue’s first branding the other day… she took it like a champ.
