Meet Lala and Po, our last two Teletubbies looking for homes! 🐾

These 15-week-old kittens are ready to find their happily ever after! Lala is our beautiful black female, and Po is our handsome tuxedo boy. Their mom and two siblings have already found their families, and now it's their turn. ❤️

Both kittens are extremely sweet, playful, and full of personality. They even have some unique ear and facial features that make us wonder if they have a little Devon Rex in their family tree!

🐱 Fully vaccinated
🐱 Will be spayed/neutered soon
🐱 Happy, playful, and ready for loving homes

Lala and Po would love to be adopted together or join a home with another playful feline friend, but that's not a dealbreaker. Most of all, they need families who will give them the love and attention they deserve.

Can you help us find their forever homes? Share this post to help Lala and Po find their people! 🏡

If you are interested in giving these kitties a home, please reach out to our Woodman Road location at (804)262-2436.

Look at these smiling faces! 😁

They have all reached an exciting milestone in their rehabilitation journey, and we’re celebrating right alongside them! 🐾

Rehabilitation can help pets improve their mobility, build strength, manage pain, and get back to doing the things they love. We’re so proud of these pups and grateful to our rehabilitation technician Bri for helping them along the way!

Please join us in congratulating these good doggos on their hard work!

Hurley came in for his annual exam looking a little different than we remember. We can't quite put our finger on it. 😆

We’re not sure who told him pink was his color, but we have to admit… they were right. 💕

Our veterinary team does a lot behind the scenes that you may never see.

Between appointments, our team is reviewing lab results, returning calls and messages, preparing prescriptions, completing medical records, checking on hospitalized patients, working through emergencies, consulting with one another, and doing everything they can to make sure each patient gets the care and attention they need.

It can be a busy and sometimes unpredictable job, but we are incredibly fortunate to have clients who understand that.

Thank you to those who are patient when things take a little longer than expected, kind when we are having a particularly hectic day, and understanding that our team is doing their best to care for every patient who walks through our doors.

Your patience, trust, and kindness mean more to our team than you probably realize. We are so grateful for the clients who recognize that behind every appointment, phone call, email, and treatment is a team of human beings who genuinely care about your pets and want the very best for them.

Thank you for being part of our veterinary family. 💜

😁 Happy World Smile Day!

If you need a reason to smile today, may we introduce you to Linus?

Linus is the residential greeter at our Parham Road location, and he’s always happy to welcome patients, families, and the Locke Taylor team. We think he’s got one of the best smiles around!

Now it’s your turn: Share a photo of your pet’s best smile in the comments! We want to see those happy faces. 🐶🐱🐰

A little patience goes a long way.

Some cats need a little extra time to feel comfortable in a new environment. Others, like Skye, are perfectly content to settle in for some cuddles. ❤️

Our team knows that every patient has their own personality and comfort level. Taking the time to handle patients gently and pay attention to their body language can help make veterinary visits a more positive experience for everyone.

How does your kitty handle a trip to the vet? Are they calm and curious like Skye, or do they make their feelings very clear?

Panda is on the mend after an unfortunate run-in with a horse!

Panda, a 12-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, was underfoot when a horse became spooked and sustained a fracture to her left front leg. She came to Locke Taylor, where Dr. Lynch placed a cast to stabilize the fracture and support healing.

As part of her recovery, Panda will be receiving laser therapy and working with Bri through physical rehabilitation to help her get back on her feet.

A reminder for pet parents: All rehabilitation packages are currently 20% off through the end of September! If you think your pet could benefit from physical rehabilitation, give our Glen Allen location a call at (804) 308-9971 to learn more.
