Our parking lot will be repaired and resealed on June 12th–13th. To help the work be completed safely and efficiently (and to avoid disruptions for our clients and patients) our clinic will be CLOSED on Friday, June 12th so that all excavation and paving repairs can be completed in one day.

Please note that our parking lot will remain closed and inaccessible until Monday morning, June 15th. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these improvements, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your support!

Asphalt can reach 150°F when the air is only 85°F. That's hot enough to cause burns in seconds.

Quick Test: Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds. If you can't keep it there, neither can your dog.

Walk early, walk late, or walk on grass!

With America celebrating its 250th anniversary this year, there may be even more fireworks than usual. If your pet typically struggles with loud noises, storms, or fireworks anxiety, please don’t wait until the last minute to request any needed sedatives or calming medications.

Need anxiety support medication for them? You can order for pick up at our hospital or even through our online store, but please plan ahead — web store orders should be placed at least 1 week in advance to ensure they arrive before the holiday.

Say hi to Willow! She’s an 11 week old Belgian Malinois puppy who came in for her first visit with us today!

The Malinois originated in Belgium around 150 years ago and was originally bred as a herding dog to help farmers manage livestock. They are known for being very smart, loyal, and full of energy. Because they learn quickly and love having a job to do, many grow up to work alongside police officers, the military, and search-and-rescue teams. These highly active dogs grow into very athletic companions who love training, playtime, and adventure.

Summer is officially here and so is the heat.

Pets can overheat quickly, especially flat-faced breeds, senior pets, and those with thick coats. Watch for:

- Heavy panting
- Excessive drooling
- Lethargy and/or weakness
- Vomiting

If you notice these signs, move your pet to a cool area and call us right away.
