Koda has his first Heel around the neighborhood yesterday!
🐾
Kodas main reason for training is reactivity and pulling on the leash. He did amazing on his walk. We didn’t have any big distractions yet but he did great with casual walk around the neighborhood! I decided to create my own “distraction” by stopping to tie my shoe. This shows one of the many benefits of training!

Butter had his first Heel around the neighborhood yesterday!

His main reason for training is his dog reactivity. I am so proud of him for how he did on his first full walk and he had a big distraction! His Mom said “Before your training he would have lost his mind and it would have taken quite a while for him to return to below threshold!” and that any barking dog would cause him to get over threshold and he would become reactive. I’m so proud of the progress he has made so far. Can’t wait for our next walk!

Only SIX training groups next year! Each group will have three or four training dogs at a time, swipe to see availablity for each group. January and August will only be available for three week Board & Trains while the other four groups could take on 3 or 4 Week Board & Trains or Daycare Training.

As always spots are reserved on a first come first serve basis with a deposit to secure your spot on the waitlist. First step is to hop in the phone for a FREE phone consultation so we can find the program that’s best for your pup!

The Board & Train pups are hard at work!
🐾
They are both working in the ecollar and have about half of their commands on the ecollar now. We’ve started working outside and while that was a bit of a challenge for both of them at first, each lesson they are getting better at ignoring the distractions and listening to their commands. In the next day or two they’ll get to work around what will be the biggest distraction for both of them - the other dogs! Can’t wait to see how they do!

This cutie is doing great, her parents have been putting in the work with her! Today we played some leash games and got to practice walking nicely on leash. We also introduced recall and out to her as well using leash pressure and she did great!

Meet Butter!

This handsome man just got here for his four week Board & Train! Butters parents have put in a lot of work training him at home and without big distractions he listens to commands really well! Now that he is here we’ll be able to take that to the next level. In addition to that, we’re going to address some other problem behaviors as well too. He is reactive towards dogs and people, pulls on leash and has some barrier reactivity as well. I’m very excited to work with him and his family to help Butter be the best version of himself!

Welcome back Koda!

Koda is a 7 month old German Shepherd mix who completed Puppy Program and he’s now back for his 4 Week Board & Train! Koda is a lot of dog and he has been since I first met him in Puppy Program. He struggles with settling, being handed and is dog/people reactive. He has also displayed signs of resource aggression. His parents really DID a great job putting in the work with him during Puppy Program and now this boy is ready to take his training to the next level and address these problem behaviors. I am SO excited to work with him and help him grow into the best version of himself!

We will be closed for Daycare, Boarding & Lessons.
The TLDR is, as much as I HATE to turn away boarding dogs when they need me I have learned I need days off too! I recommend finding a trusted pet sitter for days I will not be available and I am willing to work with you and your sitter to set your pup up for success. If there are no other options for your pup reach out to me and I will TRY and help! Note this is situational and there will be extra fees if I am able to accommodate.
