🐾 Confidence & Communication Group Class 🐾

I’m excited to officially announce that my next group class will run:

📅 Tuesdays • June 23rd through July 21st
🕕 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
📍 Hendersonville, TN
🐶 Dogs 6 Months & Older
👥 Maximum 5 Dogs
💲 $500 per Dog

This 5 week course is designed to help you build better communication, engagement, confidence, and real world obedience with your dog in a structured, supportive environment.

Topics include:
🐾 Engagement & Focus
🐾 Marker Communication
🐾 Loose Leash Walking
🐾 Impulse Control
🐾 Confidence Building
🐾 Structured Play
🐾 Calm Neutrality Around Dogs & People
🐾 Obedience Foundations

This is not your typical chaotic group class. Each session is intentionally small so every team receives individualized coaching and guidance.

Whether you have an adolescent dog, an overexcited dog, or simply want stronger foundations and clearer communication with your dog, this class is designed for you.

Ada the giant Great Dane puppy had her first ever outing at Shelby Park and her first experience ever on a long line! Got to sniff things, watch dogs going in and out of the dog park. Did some recall work and built some confidence by learning she can jump up on a wet picnic table! She had a blast!

Confidence & Communication Group Class with Cres Canine LLC

I’m looking into starting small, structured group classes focused on helping dogs and owners build better communication, confidence, engagement, and real world obedience skills together.

This will NOT be your typical chaotic class.

The goal is to help owners better understand and communicate with their dogs while building calmness, neutrality, confidence, and reliability around real world distractions.

Topics may include:
🐾 Engagement & focus
🐾 Marker communication
🐾 Loose leash walking
🐾 Impulse control
🐾 Confidence building
🐾 Structured play
🐾 Calm neutrality around dogs & people
🐾 Obedience foundations

Class Details:
• Small class sizes (max 5 dogs)
• Dogs must be 6 months or older
• 5 week course
• 90 minute classes
• Hendersonville area
• $500 per dog

This class would be ideal for adolescent dogs, overexcited dogs, dogs needing more structure, or owners wanting stronger foundations and clearer communication with their dog.

Right now I’m mainly gauging interest before officially opening spots.

Even the little dogs need an outlet for chasing, catching, and tugging.

Play is a huge part of how I train. You can teach an entire communication system through structured, constructive play while also building a stronger bond with your dog.

Winston is learning the rules of the game. “Yes” means he gets the reward, which in this case is the toy. We had already been training and playing for a while before I took this video, so he was starting to get tired. But at almost 4 months old, Winston is already learning impulse control, obedience, and most importantly, our marker system.

As soon as the video ended, Winston brought the toy back to me to keep playing. I didn’t ask him to “out” right away because I don’t want him to think bringing the toy back means the game ends.

Teaching “out” and “all done” is important, but if every toy return ends in an “out,” it can kill the fun and rhythm of the game.

Training should be clear, fair, and fun.

Puff’s first session with me! In the session, we are working on recall in the front yard on a long line for the first time. A stray cat ended up coming into the neighbors yard, so we took this opportunity to test her threshold with prey.
