Got to see my good man, Bob, yesterday!
We worked some obedience, handling skills with his mom, and recall. Bob is such a chill guy for 9 months and it was good for him to work around some distractions (people and dogs walking by and kids playing on the playground who aren’t pictured).

🐶Every successful training journey starts with a plan🐶

No two dogs are the same, and neither are their training goals. That’s why every new client starts with a one hour private session for $160.

During our first session, we’ll get to know you and your dog, discuss your goals, evaluate where your dog is currently, and begin building a training plan tailored to your needs. We’ll also start introducing the skills and communication that will serve as the foundation for future progress.

Whether your goal is raising a confident puppy, building reliable obedience, improving engagement, or working through behavioral challenges, training is a process, and having a clear plan makes all the difference.

At the end of your session, we’ll discuss the best path forward based on your dog’s individual needs and your goals.

📍Serving Hendersonville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area.

If you’re ready to invest in a stronger relationship with your dog through fair, purposeful training, send me a message to schedule your first session.

Hello all you dog lovers!

Remember that 4th of July is right around the corner! What this means is fireworks will be starting soon. Unfortunately we see lots of dogs go missing this time of year. Be safe not sorry.

Here’s some tips to help:

• Exercise and provide mental enrichment earlier in the day.
• Take your dog out for a potty break before dark and keep them on a leash, even in fenced yards.
• Bring dogs inside before fireworks start. Close windows and curtains, and use a TV, fan, or white noise to help mask sounds.
• Set up a safe space like a crate, bedroom, or quiet room with water, bedding, and a favorite chew.
• Stay calm and act normal. don’t force interaction if your dog prefers to hide or rest.
• Your dog does not need to attend fireworks events with you! Especially if they have little to no experience around loud noises. A crowded event full of explosions is not the place to find out how your dog will react.
• For dogs that struggle with fireworks, provide a stuffed Kong, lick mat, or chew, and talk to your veterinarian ahead of time about medication options if needed.
• Double check collars, ID tags, and microchip information.

The days surrounding July 4th consistently see some of the highest numbers of lost pets each year.

When in doubt, leave your dog safely at home. A quiet evening indoors is often far more enjoyable for them!
