🌿 WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL 🌿
Still Water Stables is looking for a Farm Manager & Caretaker to become an important part of our farm in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
And we’re willing to wait for the right person.
We’re looking for someone who walks onto a property and naturally notices what needs to be done. Someone who takes pride in a freshly dragged arena, a clean barn aisle, healthy pastures, full water troughs, well-cared-for horses, working fences, and a farm that feels peaceful and welcoming when people arrive.
This is not just a stall-cleaning or horse-feeding position. We need someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day operation of a busy horse farm and boarding facility.
🐴 The right person will be comfortable with:
* Daily horse care, feeding, turnout and stall management
* Managing pastures, fencing, barns and farm facilities
* Operating and caring for tractors and farm equipment
* Identifying maintenance issues and handling—or coordinating—repairs
* Managing supplies and staying ahead of what the farm needs
* Helping lead barn staff and keeping daily responsibilities organized
* Communicating well with horse owners, staff and our family
* Keeping the property exceptionally clean, safe and well maintained
But just as important as experience is character.
We’re looking for someone who is dependable when nobody is watching. Someone who is honest, hardworking, proactive and kind. Someone who doesn’t need to be given a checklist for every little thing because they learn the property, recognize what needs attention and take initiative.
Still Water Stables is a family-owned farm, but it’s also a community. Horses are obviously a huge part of what we do, but people matter here too. We want our farm to be a place where families feel welcome, kids make memories, boarders love spending time, and our team is proud of what we’ve built together.
Our Christian faith is part of who we are and how we try to operate our farm. We don’t expect our farm manager to be a minister—we do expect someone who is comfortable working in an environment where faith, integrity, kindness and serving others are important values.
This could be an incredible opportunity for the right person who wants more than a temporary barn job. We would love to find someone who wants to put down roots, grow with us, and truly make Still Water Stables their farm too.
