Rockin Reegan Horse Training English and Western are just lables. At Rockin Reegan Horse Training I believe a good relationship between a horse and rider starts from the ground up.

A mutual respect is created by doing solid groundwork that consists of a combination of sensitizing and desensitizing exercises. Once I begin riding a horse I build on the softness and responsiveness I started on the ground. I strive to help an owner understand how, when, and why I utilize different exercises with their horse to build a healthy working relationship between them. I grew up with a m

other who did 3 day eventing and a lifelong cowboy father. This gave me a background with fundamental knowledge of several different English and Western disciplines. Watching my parents combine their knowledge to train horses taught me there is no one single way to get a job done and to approach every horse like the individual they are. This has lead to a passion to continue learning and bettering my skills as a horsewoman.

All the exposure this gelding has had gives him a solid foundation.
Now comes the part that’s just as important—refining it all. .
Teaching him to use his body more effectively, respond to pressure with purpose, carry himself with balance, and develop the bend, impulsion, and softness that create a truly well-rounded horse.
The basics are there. Now we’re polishing the details.

To say NBHA 2026 was full of highs and lows would be an understatement.
If this weekend taught me anything, it's that barrel racers are tough. No matter what gets thrown our way, we keep showing up, supporting one another, and doing what we love.

Well, our goal was to finish the second barrel better.😁
The good news? We accomplished that goal. 🙌
The bad news? The third barrel got in the way. 🤦‍♀️
I'm excited for another chance to run again especially after the unfortunate events that occurred at this race.💔

First time at South Point for ! 🩷
She was calm in the warm-up, a little looky at a few banners, but spent most of her time wondering why I wouldn't let her RUN 😂
Safe to say she's ready for her first run. Now I just need to remember my outside leg exists on barrel #2. 🤞🐴

I’ll admit it — getting everything packed, loaded, checked in, and settled at the NBHA Super Show had me feeling a little anxious. 😅
But the moment I swung a leg over Rey, all of that faded away.
I’m grateful for this mare, the opportunity to be here, and looking forward to a fun weekend doing what I love. 🐴✨
