Meet Otie: smiling through it all and proving to be an absolute trooper. 🐶💙

Otie received care for paraphimosis, when the p***s can’t retract into its protective sheath. Hair, debris, or swelling can contribute, and prompt veterinary attention is important—this isn’t a wait-and-see situation.

Watch for persistent exposure, swelling, excessive licking, or discomfort. UrgentVet is here to help with sensitive concerns and urgent care when your pet needs it. 🐾

Cash came in with respiratory concerns and quickly settled into his heated suite like the king he is. 🐱💙

Cats often hide signs of illness, so watch for wheezing, rapid or labored breathing, persistent sneezing, nasal discharge, or unusual quietness. Open-mouth breathing in cats is an emergency—seek care right away.

UrgentVet is here to help when your cat needs urgent care. ❤️

Their athletic abilities are impressive, but even expert jumpers can have the occasional misstep.🐾

What’s the most impressive place your cat has managed to jump to? 👀

If your cat suddenly seems reluctant to jump, is limping, or isn’t moving like their usual self, it may be worth a closer look. Changes in mobility can sometimes signal an injury or other health concern.

If your cat needs care for an unexpected injury or illness, UrgentVet is here to help with urgent care when you need it. 💙

Meet Kylo: fluffy, stoic, and here for an ear infection. 🐶💙

Thick, curly coats can trap moisture and debris around the ears, while allergies may contribute to recurring infections. Head shaking, ear scratching, redness, odor, discharge, or soreness can signal a problem. Ear infections are uncomfortable and can worsen without care.

UrgentVet is here when your pet needs urgent attention. Kylo was a champ through his exam! 🐾

Did you guess it? The answer is… Rhodesian Ridgeback! 🐾

Fun Fact: Their signature “ridge” is a strip of hair along their back that grows in the opposite direction from the rest of their coat! Pretty paw-some, right? 🐶

At UrgentVet, we love celebrating every pup’s unique traits — big, small, and everything in between. ❤️

Meet Cookie therapy dog, booth manager, and the best brand ambassador we could have asked for. 🤍❤️

We had the privilege of being out in the community supporting Michael’s Angels Paws, and Cookie made sure our table was in good hands or paws, rather. 🐾

Events like this are exactly why we do what we do. UrgentVet Henderson is more than a clinic we’re part of this community, and supporting the organizations and people who show up for animals every day means everything to us. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, grab a bandana, and chat with us and an even bigger thank you to Cookie for keeping the booth running smoothly. 😂

If you’d like to learn more about Michael’s Angels Paws and the incredible work they do, give them a follow and show them some love. ❤️

We’re proud to be your neighborhood urgent care in the clinic and out in the community. 🐾

Sometimes the best part of the day is seeing the world through their eyes. 🐾

For Team Member Marie, one of those moments was spending a little extra time with Clover. Taking a moment to slow down, connect, and build trust can make all the difference, especially when a vet visit feels unfamiliar.

At UrgentVet, we believe caring for pets is about more than treating an illness or injury. It’s about helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way. ❤️

Meet Brutus, a brave pup getting his broken nail examined—thriving with that big smile and zero stress energy! 😂❤️ Broken nails may look minor but can be quite painful, especially if near the quick. Signs include limping, licking, bleeding, or a cracked/nail missing. Don't attempt to fix it at home—trust UrgentVet to handle it safely so your pet can heal quickly. 🐾 Whether you walk in or reserve your spot online, we’re here for your pet’s urgent needs.

Mesmerizing eyes aren’t just cute—they’re incredible tools! 🐱

A cat’s eyes are specially designed to help them see in low light, judge distance, and track movement, making them skilled little hunters. Their unique vision is just one of the many things that makes cats so fascinating. ❤️

At UrgentVet, we love helping pet parents learn more about the pets they love and keeping their furry family members feeling their best.

Fall is here, and your pet may have A LOT planned. ✔️

Some things are essential… like chasing squirrels, rolling in leaves, and claiming the coziest spot on the couch. Others? We’ll try to keep them off the list. 🐾

But if your pet’s fall plans do take an unplanned turn, UrgentVet is here. ❤️

Swipe to see Rio put his skills to the test. ➡️

During Rio's trip to UrgentVet, our team discovered that Rio has a special talent. And no, it’s not sitting pretty… it’s catching treats like a pro! 🍪

We’d say he’s got this trick in the bag, but he keeps eating the evidence. 👀

Not every outdoor adventure goes according to plan—just ask Maggie! 🐝

Maggie came to UrgentVet with facial swelling from a suspected insect sting, and our team was ready to help. Allergic reactions in pets can happen quickly and may cause swelling, redness, hives, and in some cases, difficulty breathing.

The good news? Maggie is feeling much better! Her swelling has gone down, and she's back to her happy, playful self—just the way we like to see our patients. 💙

When your pet's timing is a little... ruff, UrgentVet is here to help them get back to feeling their best.
