Nonprofit veterinarian clinic in Las Vegas! Lower cost pet care for those in need. This is a much needed service in the industry. Thank you to Dr. Espinosa for all you do!

When a pet needs specialized medical care, the cost can quickly become overwhelming for many families.

A Las Vegas veterinarian is trying to change that.

Dr. David Espinosa has launched Majestic Park Animal Care, a nonprofit dedicated to helping pet owners afford critical treatments that might otherwise be out of reach. The organization has already helped fund $100,000 in care for dogs and cats in need.

At a time when financial hardship is driving more pet surrenders across Southern Nevada, programs like this can help keep pets where they belong—with the families who love them.

Our office is closed today in remembrance of the fallen heroes that have sacrificed their lives for the country that we all love and call home. Our gratitude is unending. We cannot thank our service members enough for what they give to this country, but especially to those that pay the ultimate price, we salute you. 🫡

Clark County is about to require mandatory animal welfare training for pet business staff across unincorporated areas of the county. 🐾

Starting August 4, groomers, trainers, boarders, pet sitters, rescues, breeders, and other animal-related businesses must have all owners and employees complete free county-provided training every two years in order to obtain or renew business licenses.

The ordinance follows broader animal welfare reforms passed in 2025 aimed at improving oversight and animal care standards throughout the region.

🐾 Nevada SPCA needs your help! Please contact them if you're able to foster a pet.

These dogs are not thriving in the shelter environment, and need to be in homes. Their personalities will begin to come out when they're not scared and confused, so it can immensely help them to get adopted to a forever home.

Let the ladybugs do their job. Release day is coming!

Resorts World will release 100,000 extremely frisky ladybugs on Earth Day, April 22.

The friendly insects are expected to help with local pest control, reduce pesticide use, and possibly confuse and bamboozle the new mosquito population.

The release will push the Vegas Strip property past the "500,000 ladybug milestone," as they've been doing it every year since opening in 2021.

If you see any of the ladybugs, please do not interfere with their work.

Come see Spooky and Tish in our front office! They're almost ready to fully integrate into the environment, and run wild around the office. Our OG office kitty, Kricket, still isn't 100% sure about the babies, but she's starting to warm up to them slowly. Come see for yourself how adorable they are, and give em a cuddle!
