Lottie and her handler Janelle were back for their weekly training session, and today it was working on the floor. She has improved after every session so we know Janelle is putting in the work.

Lottie gets a bit didtracted if Janelle touches her during her indication or moves around, so this week's homework is all about obedience to odor no matter what's going on.

To say Jack is earning his keep is an understatement!

He and his handler, Officer Cordsan from Clark County School District PD in Las Vegas, NV found a gun casing from a gang shooting, but that's not all. They were patrolling the parking lot and Jack indicated on a vehicle that had its window down, and a search revealed a weapon on school grounds. This team is making a difference in their community and we love getting updates from them!

Badass Julius got to play some Hide and Seek today and he didn't disappoint. It was his first time hunting for someone, and he says it's now his career choice.

What's impressive about Julius...besides the power of his bite...is that he's quiet on lead. There's no barking, squealing, squalling, and over-the-top nonsense that so many dogs have. He lets his bite do the talking and it tells a tale. His canines pierce skin, and he bruises forearms and legs, through the thickest bite suites. He's not messing around.

Julius is in the beginning stages of his bite development. He's as green as green can get and we are excited to watch him get better and better.

Julius is a beast! Experienced decoys say WOW regarding the power of his bite. When he's on a bite you can tell it's personal to him. But take him away from the work and he's such a nice dog to handle. The department that gets him is gonna make a difference and have a lot of fun.

Julius is a beast of a boy! When a trainer that's taken thousands of bites says "WOW" over the grip of this dog you know you don't want to be on the business end of him.

In less than a week this little monster will arrive at our facility! She's a springer spaniel pup from parents with Master Hunter titles, tons of hunt drive and energy to spare. She was chosen from the litter based off of her toy possession, desire to "kill" her prey, and confidence. We have a puppy raising protocol that she, and a few other puppies, will be instrumental in developing and tweaking.
