Annual wellness exams give our doctors the opportunity to catch subtle changes early, keep important preventatives and prescriptions current, and make sure your pet is feeling their very best.

Henderson Veterinary Medical Center is growing, and we'd love for you to grow with us!

With our new hospital under construction, an expanding team, and now accepting new clients, this is an exciting time to join our practice. We're looking for a full-time (Tuesday-Saturday) Veterinary Technician who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment.

At HVMC, we believe that great medicine starts with a great team. We take pride in fostering a positive practice culture where everyone's ideas are valued, learning never stops, and team members are encouraged to develop their own interests and areas of expertise. Whether you have years of experience or are a new graduate, we'd love to hear from you!

✨ What you'll do:
• Perform technician appointments, consultations, and procedures (within Kentucky regulations)
• Assist our doctors with appointments/procedures, patient care, and surgery
• Monitor anesthesia
• Run in-house diagnostics and maintain laboratory equipment
• Care for hospitalized patients
• Communicate with and educate clients
• And so much more—no two days are ever the same!

🎉 Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the HVMC family — Dr. Alexis Dillender! 🎉

We are THRILLED to introduce Dr. Dillender, who recently joined our veterinary team. With her compassionate nature, dedication to patient care, and special interests in dermatology and internal medicine, she has already become a wonderful addition to our hospital. We know our clients and patients will love getting to know her as much as we have!

Dr. Dillender grew up in northwestern Illinois and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 2026. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and gardening. She is so excited to call Henderson home, and looks forward to meeting all of the wonderful people and pets in this community!

If you see Dr. Dillender around the clinic, be sure to say hello and help us give her a warm Henderson welcome! 🐾
