Denver the Mustang made his debut appearance at Northeast Alabama Community College today for the annual Muatang 5K!
Montana Mathewson has done a wonderful job training Denver and today was a full circle moment for her mom, Amber Rain Mathewson !
Montana was only 2 years old when Amber adopted Trouper the Mustang and would always accompany them on their campus visits. Now, the torch has been passed and Montana and Denver showed up and showed out today!!
Denver loved when folks came up to meet him. He also enjoyed munching grass during his down time. Denver was very intrigued by statue of Trouper and Roscoe!
A HUGE thank you to Dr. David Campbell for allowing us this opportunity to share Denver with the community on the NACC campus! Also, thanks to John Moore for organizing our visit and conducting such a successful event!
We plan to be back next year with Denver the Mustang for the 2027 annual Mustang 5K. I hope we see you there!!

For anyone wondering Little Denver has done very well this winter and is still getting time to just grow up and be a baby. I have some plans for us this summer so stay tuned!

A little Gunner update! And glow up!

Although it’s winter and he’s got a hay belly going for him I’m happy with how he’s doing!

He needs work on his top line.

Gunner is such a sweet guy. Crossing bridges, being brushed, picking up front foot, and being brave around the property!

My horses favorite person came today! Brittni Ebenhack came to give Denver a massage and light therapy today!

While she was over we discussed seeing how Gunner would react and decided to let him get his first massage ever today! Although I only had time for half a session, he was absolutely fantastic!

With everything going on I’ve barely touched him in weeks, and he stood so still and enjoyed his massage so so much! I’m so proud of this horse!

Gunner is available if anyone is looking for the sweetest horse ever!

We love Mrs Brittni so much! Your horse deserves to be treated for all the work they do for us! Make it a priority to get on her schedule and get your ponies feeling good!

I know I have not been posting much horse content lately and I am so sorry! School has been incredibly stressful and with my grandmother passing and Tristan having health issues I havnt had time to work them much!

That being said, Denver and I got to have my senior pictures made together Monday and they are beautiful! I can not wait to see the rest!
