NEW AKC CHAMPION!

☀️SUNNY☀️

Monarch’s Time to Shine had a wonderful past two weekends, finishing his championship with his handler Lauren McIlwraith.

At the Capital City Cluster, he was Winners Dog under judge Larry Abbott for a third major win. To top it off, he was Reserve Winners the other three days, which made him the most consistently recognized dog in the major entry.

Leaving Topeka, he just needed a couple singles, which were swiftly picked up in Elk City this past weekend. Thank you to judges Jimmy Moses and Mary Murphy-East for awarding Sunny his last two singles!

Thank you to all the judges that have recognized Sunny since he started showing in mid-July and most of all thank you to Lauren for her beautiful presentation.

☀️ SUNNY ☀️

Monarch’s Time to Shine had a wonderful weekend at CenTex Kennel Club in Waco. He was awarded Winners Dog under Dr Steve Keating, Reserve Winners under Cindy Meyer and Best of Winners under Nancy Simmons.

Sunny has quickly earned both majors and seeking just a few singles now. We are very thankful to his handler Lauren McIlwraith for her beautiful presentation and exceptional care of Sunny.

Sunny is a littermate to our handsome Felon. He is sired by GCH Moonbaby’s All in the Details and out of CH Monarch’s It’s About Time RN.

Our page is being impersonated! Watch out for this SCAM…they have posted photos of me, my dogs, and several puppies but recently started posting photos of puppies that clearly are not mine with tails and just obvious poor quality!

🧡 FELON 🧡

We have made the difficult decision to find new adventures for Felon.

Felon is two years old and an AKC & ASCA Champion. He is fully health tested, full clear panel, good hips, normal elbows, good patella, normal eyes, normal cardiac, full dentition/scissors bite.

We are only considering homes actively competing at this time. Felon could continue maturing beautifully and be a nice special for someone. He also has nice rally drive and foundational training. Ideally, we would like Felon to go to a home that will continue showing him. A junior home would be suitable, if the home does not have children under the age of 10.

PM for more information. Pedigree in the comments.

🧡 ACE 🧡

We have made the difficult decision to place Ace.

Ace is a one year old AKC Champion, with a sweetheart temperament. He is loving, cuddly and eager to be the center of someone’s world. While we adore Ace, he is heavily related to dogs in our program and we would like to find him a place to live his best life. We do not feel that Ace is a suitable juniors dog prospect at this time, but we would entertain show/breeding homes with adult (or possibly older teenager) handlers. Companion homes are also a consideration. Our priority is finding the perfect situation. We are not in a rush.

Please PM for more information and consideration.

The final haul of ribbons for Team Monarch from the 2026 United States Australian Shepherd Association National Specialty!

Highlights from our trip -

🧡 Scarlett won her Futurity class and a prestigious Select of Merit under Tina Beck. She was also 2nd in a quality 12-15 month Sweepstakes class under Jamie Clute with lovely comments on her movement!

🖤 Brenley won her junior showmanship class with Victor!

🧡 Brenley won High in Trial Junior both days of obedience with Whiskey!

🖤 Victor was awarded Herding Titled Dog in conformation and advanced to the final cut of the Best of Breed ring!

🧡 Brenley qualified in all of her Rally runs with a few nice class placements, including a PERFECT score in Excellent with Whiskey. She also set a personal best score in Rally Master and Triple Q’d both trials!

🖤 Strait made the cut in his very competitive classes both in sweepstakes (9-12) and in regular conformation (Bred by Puppy). He hit his teenage ganglies a couple weeks ago, so we were just proud he still was considered for placements!

Congratulations to all the winners and most of all many thanks to volunteers that put countless hours into making this event happen.
