PLUTO UPDATE. I am a little behind in getting this posted.
From our Foster mom. A little more background on Pluto. He is a 2 yr old Siamese/ rag doll mix. He is a support animal to a 15 yr old sister/daughter that she got to help her through grieving an incredible loss. On February 11 th we posted for help with his emergency surgery and was diagnosed with FLUTD/FIC. He was released home on February 12th, but had to go right back to the hospital because he was still blocked. He stayed another night in the hospital and came back home the following day. He is now on Hill’s prescription multi care stress c/d food, amitriptyline, and feliway calming defuser. Pluto is now separated from all of the other animals in the house to keep his stress level down. He has been doing well on his new diet Pluto’s owner, We have maxed out our care card and can’t get any more help for vet care at this time. We love all of our animals and do the best we can for them. I want to thank Nancy for helping us out with Pluto’s unexpected vet bills, without her Pluto would not be here today. I want to thank everyone, who donated. For the $1390 bill we received $400 in doantions. That leaves us with approximately $900 to cover in the next 2 months (we have it on our cc) Can you help cover our outstanding balance so we can help another animal. Friends and Family we have an emergency with one of our Adopter/foster family. They adopted Pluto from Houston area 2 yrs ago. Pluto has had happy life with his family unfortunately, he has been diagnosed with a blockage. VET estimate is $1370-$1620 for treatment. Elizabeth visits this location every other week to care for a community cat who lives near the Pizza Inn dumpster. I always bring food, but each time I see him, he looks worse — like he’s asking for help. It makes my stomach turn to walk away knowing he needs medical care.
There used to be several cats here, but today he was the only one I saw. A month ago, there were also two fluffy kittens around six months old — they’re no longer showing up.
4 Paws Farm is asking for donations to help this boy get the vet care he desperately needs. Our December veterinary bills were already very high, and we can’t do this without support. Veterinary visit and meds will be $500. If you’re able to help, any amount makes a difference. Thank you for caring about the forgotten animals who depend on us. 💛
