Hello, world! I'm Lulu, an adorable 8-month-old pup, tipping the scales at a whopping 11 pounds. According to the dog scanner, I'm a unique mix of Norwich Terrier and Schnauzer—a pedigree that's as charming as it is playful!
A Journey to Find a Forever Home
My life has been a bit of a rollercoaster. My mommy went to the hospital and, sadly, she never came back. I found myself in a scary place, but thankfully, some wonderful people came to my rescue. They brought me to a loving rescue center that is determined to find me the perfect home.

Johnny

Johnny became homeless thru no fault of his own…just surrendered.
He’s a rare little German Pinscher mix and of course his tail and ears were not docked leaving him to remain his adorable cute self. Long legged and ready for a good walk, his good natured soul is also ready for a long cuddle by his favorite human. Angel

Angel came from a horrific hoarding situation 1 year ago this month…the conditions were awful. To watch her recover & learn to trust has been a wonderful journey. Now it is time to find her a kind & gentle home with a patient family willing to continue teaching her to trust. A New Beginning: 77 Dogs Find Forever Homes

Today, September 4, marks a day of hope and transformation for 77 dogs who embarked on a journey that would change their lives forever. Thanks to a collaboration between two very different rescue organizations, these dogs have found their way to new homes after overcoming unexpected challenges.
The Journey of Compassion
The journey began with unforeseen setbacks. Both buses belonging to CMC2, the organization initially responsible for transporting the dogs, broke down, causing delays in their travel plans. However, the dedication and passion for animal rescue shone through when the BMAR crew stepped in to offer their assistance.
A Rescue Collaboration
This collaboration between CMC2 and BMAR showcases the power of teamwork and compassion. Despite their differences, the two organizations united with a common goal: to ensure the safe transport and delivery of these dogs to their forever homes. The 3,000-mile journey was not just a physical one, but a testament to the resilience and commitment of all involved.
A New Life Awaits
For the 77 dogs, today marks the beginning of a new chapter. Each of them is now on their way to a loving home, where they will be cherished and cared for. These dogs, once facing an uncertain future, are now stepping into a world filled with love, safety, and the promise of a better life.

The Princess gift....

Yesterday i posted about the loss of my beloved Princess. Scroll down to read her story.
Do you believe in God and dogs? For me, I am a believer.
BMAR has been closed to intake for large dogs for quite some time due to lack of space.
Sam Mullen drove here all the way from Alice TX starting at 6 AM yesterday morning to deliver small dogs needing homes to us and on the bus was this one....
MEET CHARLIE!
I know in my heart that Princess sent her to me to heal that hole in my heart that kept the tears flowing all day. Charlie is 6 years old, the same age as my Princess was all those years ago. Only this time....unlike Princess, Charlie is adoptable! Princess sent her to me so I could make amends and find Charlie the perfect home.
Yes, she’s missing an ear and that involves a far longer story so watch for her post coming in the next few days.
But in the meatime join me in welcoming Charlie who against all odds made her way to BMAR in the nick of time to heal a broken heart and bring the smiles back to us!
