There are so many things that I love about this house, but the formal dining room is my favorite! I remember laying on the couch, looking into this room from the living room and trying out different colors of paint in my head. Finding the faric for the curtains at the $2 Fabric Store in Orem, (do you remember that place?) finalized my selection of color of butter and green olives. My one rule for picking paints it that you can't go wrong with colors of food!
I love the chandlier we found and how it has a wheat motif in the glass just like the front door.
This is the room of ordinary dinners and of large celebrations. It is where we had friends over for dinner with grown ups in the dining room and a kid's table in the living room. Christmas opening presents, Thanksgiving dinners, and kid's birthday parties!
