“Goose”

12 yr old tattooed ottb
selling for now as grade
Helotes TX
upper $x,###

Goose has spent the last 60+ days (August and Sept, into Oct 2026) at a professional barrel horse trainer’s facility, learning how to use his body correctly around a barrel and adding hustle to the pattern. Before sending him, he was loping a 4D pattern. He now knows where his body needs to be and how he needs to feel around a barrel, and is ready for someone to continue his barrel racing career.

As he continues to stay with me, he will continue to be hauled, exhibitoned, and shown.

He is safe for youth riders.

I have not yet found his jockey club papers. He does have a tattoo, and vet has aged him to be 12 yrs as of 2026.

Please DM or text me at (334)354-5591 for price and videos.

POV I’ve had one too many tires explode while driving 🫣

I was literally pulling out of the driveway and he goes “back up to the house real quick.” I’m capable of checking my own tires and rig, but that’s not the point 😌😉

This week I learned that just because this is supposed to be fun, doesn’t mean I get to leave my brain at home. When we haul anywhere, when I swing a leg onto any horse, I must be present. Because going into an arena blind and mentally not here doesn’t really work out for me or for my horse. I can’t just be dead weight.

When I envision where I’m gonna put her feet, then put her there, the rest of it is smooth. Crazy how when I ride the horse underneath me, the job gets done 🫶

My students sacrifice a tremendous amount of time and energy just to be able to make one run. They are tough, confident, and kind. I’m proud to have the ability to take them to races for them to preform what they spend so much time practicing on 💪
