So much wrong in our country and world at the moment. Yet, I am so grateful to feel in community with everyone fighting for a just, fair, and free society. I take solace and find calm in making recipes from our plant allies. After a local resolution passed in our community of Helena, MT last night that attempts to create more sanity and justice should NICE enter our city more intensely, I switch gears for the morning. I wrote my letter to support the resolution last night. Many others lined up at our city and county building to speak in favor. This morning I work with my plant concoctions, listen to calming music, take a break from news cycles, to replenish my nervous system to sustain the energy needed to keep steadily aware of what is happening and stay actively involved. Remember to step off the screen and socials to make calls to your reps, get outside with your community and protest.
