We’ve had a lot of new faces and followers around here lately at McCleskey Performance Horses, so we thought it would be fitting to take a moment to introduce ourselves!
For those who may not know us, we’re Casey and Lena McCleskey. McCleskey Performance Horses is located in the small town of Hedley, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle just off Highway 287. We’re incredibly blessed to be running and operating our business in Casey’s hometown, surrounded by family, friends, and the customers that has supported us along the way.
Casey’s dream of owning and operating a performance horse business didn’t happen overnight. More than five years ago, we started with a piece of land and a vision, building everything from the ground up. There have been plenty of challenges, lessons, and changes along the way, but each step has played an important part in getting us to where we are today.
Over the years, we’ve also stepped away from our own operation at times, giving Casey the opportunity to work alongside and learn from well-known trainers such as Bobby Lewis and Steve Orth. Those years and experiences were valuable to say the least, and we’re incredibly grateful for the knowledge, relationships, and opportunities that came from them.
With all that being said, at McCleskey Performance Horses, we strive to produce quality horses and deliver exceptional results for every client. Whether we’re developing young prospects, creating reliable ranch and using horses, or training competitive head and heel horses, our goal remains the same: 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚.
