When the city shut off our water the other week, we rented a porta potty and handwash station JUST in case. We ended up getting water back the next day, but it put Dr. D in the spirit for his dad joke of the week!

🐾 CLINIC SPOTLIGHT: MEET OUR TEAM! 🐾

Featuring: Dr. Cory Dehnart 👨‍⚕️

Job Title: Medical Director
Years in veterinary medicine: 23 years in the field, 11 years as a doctor

Favorite part of the job: Laughing and having fun with clients, pets, and staff. I try to keep the appointments 80% fun, 20% medicine. 😄

Favorite veterinary procedure: Cat neuters
My least favorite veterinary smell: A**l glands 🤢

Coffee order: Large iced black coffee with 2 shots of espresso ☕

If I’m not working, you will likely find me: doing laundry, mowing the grass, and/or cleaning the house 🏠 🧺

Name your pets: 1 dog (Oliver), and 1 cat (Walter) 🐶🐱

One piece of advice I’d give every new pet owner: We strongly recommend pet insurance. We understand the cost of medicine is increasing with the advances in diagnostics. Insurance can greatly decrease the burden of unexpected medical emergencies. 🐾

🐾 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾

Our veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants wear so many hats, and this week, we want to give them the appreciation they deserve! ❤️

From assisting with appointments and surgeries to taking dental X-rays, monitoring anesthesia, running lab work, administering medications, comforting nervous patients, educating pet parents, and keeping everything running behind the scenes, our team does it all, AND often all in the same day!

They go above and beyond every day to support our doctors and advocate for our patients. Their hard work and dedication make an incredible difference.

To our amazing team: Thank you for everything you do, both the things everyone sees and the countless things that happen behind the scenes. We appreciate your knowledge, compassion, flexibility, and willingness to jump in wherever you’re needed. Our clinic wouldn’t be the same without you! 🩺🐶🐱

🎉 Help us celebrate our veterinary technicians and assistants! If you see one of our incredible girls around the clinic, take a moment to thank them and give them the praise they deserve. They work hard every day to care for your furry family members, and we’d love for them to feel just how appreciated they are!
