This is Itaca a few days ago. I bred her to Josheb last week and I hope she takes. I haven’t been able to get any pups out of her yet. She is super strong and puts the brakes on what ever she gets a hold of. This one was not bayed but running through some big timber when she “took a holt“ as papaw says. 2 Samuel 24:24

Over the past two years I have posted many times per week trying to show yall a little bit of everything we do. I spent a lot of time trying to think and video what I thought yall might enjoy and also answer questions that I get asked frequently. I will still post from here forward but not nearly as much. I think I have showed a pic or video of just about everything we do. It takes up precious time on a hunt to stop and get footage so I’ll take some when it’s handy but not trying constantly like I have been. Dr. Slagle took this pic when he was with us and documenting feral hog management for the University. That knife, made by another friend of mine Chris Julian really tells a lot about us. In Arkansas we can’t transport hogs, we can’t sell them, we cannot keep them alive. There are no high fences or low fences or hogs in captivity. Every hog in Arkansas must be dispatched immediately and it’s illegal to catch one and turn it back loose. I am not able to have a practice pen or start my pups in pens because of all of these regulations. So the first time my dogs see a hog it’s in the wild and they realize we are playing for 🩸.
