This sweet boy has been brought up to Mountain Top Veterinary Clinic and we are trying to find his family! ❤️

Did you know dogs and cats can develop mammary (breast) tumors? Regularly checking your pet can help you notice changes early.

🔎 Watch for:
• New lumps or bumps along the mammary glands
• Swelling or changes in the breast tissue
• Redness, sores, or discharge
• A lump that grows or changes over time

❤️ Early detection matters! If you notice a new lump or anything unusual, don’t wait to have it checked by your veterinarian. Not every lump is cancerous, but every new or changing lump deserves attention.

Spaying at the appropriate time can also significantly reduce the risk of mammary tumors in female dogs, so talk with your veterinarian about what is best for your pet.
