KB Horses All services require a reservation in advance. For availability, please call 435-315-9950. IN RIDING A HORSE WE BORROW FREEDOM.

KB Horses is located in the stunning community of Red Ledges just 20 minutes southeast of Park City, Utah. We offer western riding lessons and guided trail rides all year round. Our trail rides are truly unique mainly because we are not a nose-to-tail outfit. We take pride in educating our guests throughout all aspects of their experience. The horses at the ranch enjoy their jobs and perform them

impeccably. Each ride is a private ride, custom tailored to your riding ability. If you’re a beginning or fearful rider, we have horses that can teach you and keep you safe through a willing partnership. If you’re a more of an advanced rider, you’ll love the freedom of bushwhacking on a kind-minded, sure-footed horse who will listen to your every cue. We also have a team of Clydesdales who pull our wagon rides. Our Amish, hand-made wagon holds up to 16 people and can be as intimate or gregarious as you choose. Services we offer:
Trail Rides
Horsemanship Classes
Private or Group Riding Lessons
Wagon rides
Chuckwagon Cookouts

Today was a moment we will treasure forever—Jonah’s very first walk out of the stall. 🐴

We are incredibly proud to introduce Jonah, our American Cream Draft c**t. Watching him take those first curious, confident steps into the world was a reminder of why we are so passionate about this remarkable breed.

The American Cream Draft is the only draft horse breed developed in the United States and remains one of the rarest draft breeds in the world. Known for their beautiful cream-colored coats, amber eyes, gentle temperament, and willing nature, these horses are truly something special. Their rarity makes every foal precious, and each new generation plays an important role in preserving the future of the breed.

That is why Jonah means so much to us. He is more than just a beautiful c**t—he represents the continuation of a unique piece of equine history. Every healthy foal born into this breed is a reason to celebrate, and we feel incredibly fortunate to be part of its preservation.

Seeing him take his first walk, full of curiosity and promise, fills us with excitement for the years ahead. We are grateful for the opportunity to watch him grow, learn, and develop into the horse he is meant to become.

Welcome to the world, Jonah. You are already deeply loved, and we couldn’t be prouder to have you here. 🤍✨

It’s a BOY 🤍✨

Penny welcomed a beautiful American Cream Draft c**t into the world, and we are completely smitten already.

Strong legs, soft eyes, and a whole lot of promise standing in the straw tonight. Watching these babies arrive never gets old. Every foal feels like another step toward preserving and honoring this incredible breed for future generations.

Welcome to the world, little man. We’ve been waiting for you. 🐴🌾

From the open trails to the western way of life we hold close, none of it would be possible without their sacrifice.

Thank you to all who have served, sacrificed, and carried the weight of freedom. We ride in honor of you today. 🤠🐴

Shiloh was 31 years old, formerly the herd boss mare, and one of the pioneers of this business. In so many ways, she helped make this place what it is today.

She was the sweetest bay horse with the kindest eye you’d ever see, but beneath that softness was a strong, capable mare who led this herd for years. She kept the horses safe and sound, taught them how to be horses, and helped shape them into horses that serve people for the better.

She was athletic, cool, and carried herself with the kind of confidence that only comes from experience. A retired rodeo horse turned trusted teacher. A legend in every sense of the word.

She carried unsure riders, stood patiently at the hitch rack for grooming and saddling lessons, and kept the youngsters in shape with a firm, fair attitude that never felt cruel. Whatever version of Shiloh you got was the version you deserved. Honest. True. Dependable.

And she loved her baby donkey, Dolly, fiercely. Even if Dolly was fully grown, Shiloh was convinced that donkey was still her baby, and she pinned her ears at anyone who suggested otherwise.

She was big and beautiful and deeply respected by both horses and humans alike.

Today we are heartbroken and sorry to say goodbye, but her exit was dignified, quick, and surrounded by the people and horses who loved her most.

Rest easy, Shiloh. Thank you for everything you gave this herd, this business, and all of us lucky enough to know you.

Exclusively for Red Ledges members, we are launching a Riding Club offering a unique opportunity to connect with fellow members while enjoying the beauty of the ranch on horseback. Held on the first Monday of every month, members will join us for a guided group trail ride through our private trails, followed by time to unwind and socialize back at the ranch. After the ride, enjoy refreshments on our patio as you relax, connect, take in the surroundings and meet some of your neighbors
