The Licking County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to the humane treatment of animals. The Licking County Humane Society seeks to improve the lives of animals and people through advocacy, education, and support. Board meetings are currently taking place virtually. and Sophie's Thrift Store will be closed to the public on Monday, September 7, and will reopen during regular business hours on Tuesday.

We’ll be taking the day to rest, recharge, and celebrate the incredible hard work of our staff and volunteers who show up for our community and the pets in our care every day! While the shelter is closed to visitors, our animals will still receive the same love, care, and attention they do every day of the year! 🐾

We hope you have a safe and happy Labor Day! 💙
