We have been made aware of an individual advertising Cane Corso puppies and falsely representing themselves as Oak Creek Retrievers & Training LLC.

This person is NOT affiliated with Oak Creek Retrievers. We do not breed or sell Cane Corso puppies.

The scammer is requesting deposits before allowing people to visit or pick up a puppy. Please do not send them money.

Any legitimate communication from Oak Creek Retrievers will come through our official business channels. If you are ever unsure whether you are speaking with us, contact us directly through our official website/page before sending payment.

We have reported the account and are documenting the fraudulent use of our business name.

We’re not perfect, but there has never been another country that has offered more opportunity, inspired more hope, or defended liberty more fiercely than the United States of America.

So fire up the grill, fly the flag, hug your family, and take a moment to appreciate what it means to be an American.

☀️ Vacation Notice ☀️

After a busy season, I’ll be taking some much-needed family time away from July 3rd through July 12th to unplug, recharge, and make some memories.

During this time, I will have very limited access to my phone, social media, email, and text messages.

Unless there is a true emergency involving a dog currently in our care, I kindly ask that you hold calls, texts, and direct messages until I return on July 13th.

If you need assistance while I’m away, please contact our office at 979-220-4186. Our team will do their best to assist you with any training, boarding, or supplement-related questions.

Over the last several months, we’ve spent a lot of time rebuilding our website from the ground up.

Not because our philosophy has changed, but because we wanted a better way to communicate who we are, what we do, and why we do it.

At Oak Creek Retrievers, we’ve always believed that obedience is the foundation.

Whether we’re training a family companion, a finished gun dog, or a competitive retriever, our approach remains the same: clear communication, consistency, and building understanding before expectations.

The new website does a much better job of telling that story.

No standing in the Texas heat.
No trying to remember everything at pickup.

Every dog that graduates from Oak Creek goes through owner lessons right here in our air-conditioned training room.
We spend time teaching not only the dog, but the family as well.

From on-leash obedience to off-leash reliability, we want owners to leave confident and dogs to leave understanding exactly what’s expected.

Because good dogs don’t happen by accident.
