❄️ ICE STORM PREPAREDNESS – PLEASE READ ❄️
With the ice storm expected this weekend, we want to help our clients and patients stay safe and prepared.
🐾 Small Animal Care: • Bring outdoor pets inside if possible
• Keep extra food and any necessary medications on hand
• Ensure a warm, draft-free space
🐴 Large Animal & Livestock Care: • Provide adequate shelter from wind and ice
• Ensure access to unfrozen water (check frequently)
• Use dry bedding and increase calories as needed for warmth
• Secure footing in barns, stalls, and high-traffic areas
• Check heat sources, water heaters, and generators ahead of time
🚗 Appointments & Travel:
If road conditions become unsafe, appointments may need to be adjusted or rescheduled. Safety always comes first. We will communicate any changes as quickly as possible.
