❄️ ICE STORM PREPAREDNESS – PLEASE READ ❄️

With the ice storm expected this weekend, we want to help our clients and patients stay safe and prepared.

🐾 Small Animal Care: • Bring outdoor pets inside if possible
• Keep extra food and any necessary medications on hand
• Ensure a warm, draft-free space

🐴 Large Animal & Livestock Care: • Provide adequate shelter from wind and ice
• Ensure access to unfrozen water (check frequently)
• Use dry bedding and increase calories as needed for warmth
• Secure footing in barns, stalls, and high-traffic areas
• Check heat sources, water heaters, and generators ahead of time

🚗 Appointments & Travel:
If road conditions become unsafe, appointments may need to be adjusted or rescheduled. Safety always comes first. We will communicate any changes as quickly as possible.

📞 Emergencies:
If you have an emergency and are unsure about travel conditions, please contact us before heading out so we can help guide next steps.

Praying everyone has had and will have a safe memorial.

We want to give a heads up that the office will be closed on Thursday and Friday this week for us to get some much needed organization and cleaning done. If you need any refills please call Monday thru Wednesday. If you have an emergency please call Texas A&M Small Animal Hospital or Texas A&M Large Animal Hospital.

Update for the last post....there will be a tent set up at South Star Bank in Hearne and ready to sell by 11AM. Proceeds will go to the Burns Family to help with funeral expenses.
