In Loving Memory of Willow “Wilbert” “Bean”
Willow, lovingly known as “Wilbert” and “Bean,” a devoted Pit Mix, passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 14. Born in July of 2012, Bean lived a life full of loyalty, comfort, and plenty of laughter for those who knew her best.
She was the cherished companion of her owner, Maegan Hearndon, and a steady, loving presence in the life of her daughter, Lola. Bean was the kind of dog whose loyalty ran deep—she didn’t just love her family, she needed to be near them. Rarely more than a step away, she made it her life’s mission to stay close, offering quiet companionship and unconditional affection every single day.
Bean had a personality that was as easygoing as it was memorable. She wasn’t one to fuss over toys—she preferred the simple pleasures: a good butt scratch, lounging near her people, and, of course, enjoying any treat she could get her paws on. Known for her love of food, it’s safe to say she “never met a snack she didn’t like,” and pup cups were among her absolute favorites.
Her family will always remember her for her gentle spirit, her constant presence, and the comfort she brought just by being there. Bean didn’t need grand gestures to show her love—she showed it in quiet moments, in closeness, and in the unwavering bond she shared with those she loved most.
Though she may be gone from sight, the imprint she left on her family’s hearts will remain forever.
