Let's literally talk about tips- cat ear tips that is. A cat that has been neutered/spayed then released outside is usually ear tipped to indicate the cat has been altered to prevent tons of kittens and keep outdoor cats healthy.

This ear tipping is usually done through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs while the cat is receiving the spay/neuter. There is little to no bleeding that occurs on the cat's left ear after the tipping- just leaves the cat with the universal sign of, "hey I am a fixed feline!" Here at BCAS, we offer free TNR through a grant program for Baltimore County residents. We schedule daily TNR appointments at both our Baldwin and Dundalk locations.

Our TNR package includes:
🐈Spay or neuter
🐈Rabies vaccine
🐈FVRCP vaccine (protects against Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and Panleukopenia)
🐈Left ear-tipping
🐈Tattoo on the abdomen
🐈Microchipping (Note: All cats will be scanned for a microchip prior to implanting. If any of the cats are found to have a microchip or sign of ownership, they will be impounded for a 72-hour stray hold. You may come to claim them after the 72 hours, if no owner comes forward to redeem them.)
🐈Vet exam while sedated

Update:
The two cats DUMPED, yes dumped, so many curses in my head for the POS, have been placed in a loving beautiful home together... both healthy UTD and 1 waiting on APPOINTMENT TO BE FIXED... 1 was 1 wasn't go figure.
