We are fixing cats today. We may have no shows or cancels. Will have an idea about 9 am. Hold kitty’s food and will have you email ‘waitlist’ to [email protected] with your cell phone number if we do.

We’re here this weekend (11/8-11/9) doing our last hip to snip Clinic in 2025. We may have a few waitlisted spots for Dogs tomorrow. We for sure have spots for male cats on Sunday. If you can make Sunday work for your male cat, please email [email protected]. Put your name, your cat’s name and your cell phone. If you put ‘male cat’ in the subject, that would be fantastic. We will confirm via text if we have a spot.  There likely will not be any confirms today due to travel.

Thank you, we appreciate you wanting to get your pets fixed. We know there are a lot of people waiting for spots. There are thousands of unaltered animals in the four counties and we really are doing the best we can.

We are in town with Hip to Snip this weekend. We MAY have a few dog spots today. Looking for larger (over 25 lbs) males and females. Don’t feed your dog and email [email protected] with your name, dog name, s*x, weight and cell phone. We will not be rescheduling no shows.

We are hoping to receive additional grant money from Banfield Foundation. They know how much your counties need this service.

*It’s $20 per dog/$15 per cat (includes vaccines) for residents Perry, Breathitt, Letcher and Knott with income BELOW $40,000 per year.

This grant was given to help with larger dog spay/neuter to help decrease the numbers of larger dogs being born and ending up in the shelter. We fix some smaller dogs but mostly larger. Only 20 female cat spots each clinic so they fill up fast
